stay away from Jasper AI

Save your time and money—stay away from Jasper AI.

I wasted two years' worth of subscription fees on Jasper AI. During the first year, I barely used it because the responses generated by Jasper AI were highly mechanical. I had to take the generated content and edit it myself, which was less convenient than using other free AI tools. Moreover, they created various modules to make you feel like they're solving problems for you, but in reality, they only added to your workload—you had to search for the right module to generate a reply. So, why not just use the free ChatGPT instead? As a result, I hardly used it in the first year.

When my subscription automatically renewed for another year, I realized I needed to contact customer service to cancel it (as there was no other way to cancel it myself). I reached out to customer service, and they did help me cancel the subscription. However, they refused to refund the remaining 11 months of the subscription and simply told me to "enjoy the remaining 11 months on Jasper AI."

Be sure to cancel you trial subs in time

They charged me over 700 euros the SECOND my free trial was over. I was literally about to cancel when I saw the charge come in.

Fortunately they were very quick to promise a reimbursement.

The service seems like it might be useful for some businesses. My clients are too "deep tech" for something like this.

I really liked Jasper

I just canceled my subscription.

I noticed several negative reviews here and on Reddit from their affiliates not honoring payouts.

In addition, I just checked their private FB group and it's dead. They also require admin approval to post to the community.

On top of that, they haven't been sending out their regular newsletters about their updates.

Exceptional AI Writing Assistant!

Jasper has completely transformed how I create content. The AI is incredibly intuitive and delivers high-quality results that feel natural and engaging. Whether it’s blog posts, social media captions, or marketing materials, Jasper consistently exceeds expectations. The user interface is clean and easy to navigate, making the process seamless even for beginners.

What truly sets Jasper apart is its ability to understand context and adapt to different tones of voice, making it versatile for various industries. The built-in templates are a huge time-saver and ensure professional-grade output every time.

The support team is also outstanding—quick to respond and always helpful. Jasper is a must-have tool for anyone looking to elevate their writing game and save countless hours. Highly recommended!

No better than free tools!

Cannot write like a human; cannot adopt my "brand voice"; cannot write long-form content; good for article-spinning spammers, that's about it; I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

Firstly

Firstly. They should state that they need your credit card detials before you sign up. It just misleading.

You want people to try for 7 days for free.. Yeh. That's great. They could have easily programed expiry on that. BUT no. instead they want your credit card number. So that they can charge you after those 7 days. It is a scam from mt understanding. If people like your offerings and products. They will pay you for it.

Buy you asking for the payment details -just goes to show how money hungry you as a company are. And it is shameful.

Because these types of sly-free to use setups catch people out and then they end up paying for stuff they don't want.

or.. the simplest thing would be to just tell people.. hay we don't do free trials... just pay us and use for the duration that you require. That is being honest and transparent.

hate what the world have become.

Jasper.ai is fraudulent.

Jasper.ai is a great service. The problem with it is when it steals your money. You could sign up for a month. What it will do is then steal a year's worth of your money. They are fraudulent in this regard.

Not worth it

Unfortunately, I found the Jasper AI starting plan to be underwhelming. The features offered didn't provide any significant advantage over free alternatives like GPT or Gemini. I struggled to consistently generate product descriptions following a simple formula. Additionally, being charged for an entire year upfront without being given the option to choose my billing preferences is a major drawback. The company's refusal to offer a refund has resulted in a significant financial loss.

Bogus Charges Continue...

Jasper Ai has been charging my company $1,059.31 for two years in a row now and we never signed up for an account, nor did we have a free trial. We've even changed credit cards in the last several months and they're somehow still charging us $1,059.31 for a yearly plan that we've never had. Zero email confirmation on anything from Jasper Ai.
Also, it seems that their Pro Plan is only $708 annually, which means they're charging us far more than their top-tier plan.
Stay away from this website altogether. Criminals working there.

Worst AI tool ever used

Worst AI tool ever used. The output you get is just rubbish. And watch out! There is no way to cancel your subscription, no way anybody answers your complaint, so you loose your money! Jasper.ai are thiefs.

Had to cancel my credit card in order to cancel my subscription!

Absolute criminal organisation with 0 usability. Moreover, UX is so bad you're getting a lateral epicondylitis!

Absolute garbage company with ZERO…

Absolute garbage company with ZERO customer service! They have been billing us for almost a year, we did not even realize this, our CPA just found it, after we told them numerous times to cancel our services over a year ago. On the phone with the credit card company and they are reimbursing us, what a total sham, AVOID this scam of a company... also if you call, you get a GOOGLE VOICE mailbox! Sigh.

5 stars across the board

While the platform is fantastic and one of the best AI writing tools I've used, their customer service truly sets them apart.

I've been a customer for over a year now and don't even test other tools anymore because none compare.

Shoutout to Meredith, Sr. Product Specialist, for making my experience the best!

Do not get the annual subscription

Do not get the annual subscription. You cannot cancel and get the unused portion of your subscription. Unfortunately, their outputs are not so great anymore. If you pay for the creative plan you are paying for the privilege of purchasing a plan from a third-party company so that you can use the SEO mode. Save your money and go with Chat GPT. Better price and better outputs.

Do not get this app. You Need to enter your Credit card for the Test Version and then they charge you huge amounts without you accepting it.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall...

Jasper (Conversion AI/Jarvis) started out strong. They were the first big name in the game, but got too big too fast. I was a HUGE fan, to the point where I even wrote half a dozen blog posts about how amazing Jasper was! Until, it wasn't amazing anymore - so I left.

Their customer support went downhill, and then became downright terrible. The Facebook group used to be amazing, and it went to trash, too.

I left Jasper over a year ago but they kept saying they had new features, so I went back for a month to test it out. It was the same old Jasper, and I had already found a better AI tool to use by then, so I cancelled my account. That was in December.

I noticed I was still getting charged in APRIL so I emailed them and asked them to cancel my account and refund me.

It is now JUNE and I'm STILL being charged every month. It's gotten to the point where I had to file a dispute with my credit card because Jasper's customer service is arguing with me saying I've used it. They sent a screenshot showing 4,000 words used. IN DECEMBER. And are still refusing to let me close my account, refusing to stop billing me, and won't refund me. What a mess. There are way better tools out there, for a fraction of the cost of Jasper. Run.

Stay Away! They do not honor their refund policy and claim they charge you monthly but indeed charge you yearly right up front! Huge money!
