Great would mean the merchandise is in hand with no damage. This is just another internet purchase and we will see how it goes. Houzz checkout process is excellent. The delivery process can't compare... See more

We order a vanity and faucets
We order a vanity and faucets, which we’re excited to receive our order. We went on the app looking for updates and noticed the faucets were delivered to another state. We checked on the status of the vanity but was not able to receive any info. We reached 3 times on the app and website. I finally got a hold of a live person and she told us our vanity was out of service and will not be stocked… no vanity no faucets, hopefully we get our money back bummer don’t use
I bought a bathtub from WalMart
I bought a bathtub from WalMart. I ought it off of the WalMart website and somehow received the exact same bathtub from HOUZZ. I never have ever ordered from HOUZZ
Scam Company! Does not ship on any of the schedules…
Does not ship on any of the schedules they show, its all made up. They dont reply to any customer inquiries. I ordered a window and it never shipped, 5 weeks later they charged my card and shipped it without telling me after I had already contacted them to cancel the order and bought one elsewhere.
Had to file a chargeback to resolve and only when I mentioned chargeback did they bother replying to me.
I placed an order for a tablecloth over…
I placed an order for a tablecloth over three weeks ago. The order was acknowledged, and I was supposed to be notified when it was shipped. But nothing since. No way to track the order (unless you want to download the Houzz app ... not!). Beyond frustrating! Apparently, I can' even cancel the order. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER try to do business with this company again, and I will tell anyone and everyone about my experience.
CUSTOMER SERVICE NIGHTMARE
This was the most frustrating customer service experience of my life! Although HOUZZ has a great array of product offerings they DO NOT CARE about customer satisfaction, otherwise there would be a help desk with a REAL PERSON to speak with!
We purchased bar stools in May, 2025 and they were shipped to Massachusetts - I live in Arizona! Then the manufacturer ran out of materials so we chose to wait until they came back online. September 4 they arrived on our doorstep with NO ADVANCE NOTICE, as promised by customer service. This happened to me the day before we left for an out of country holiday. 2 of the 3 barstools were damaged with legs sticking out through the packing box! I took pictures per HOUZZ instructions and filed a claim. It took a month for a response - very confusing messaging between HOUZZ and HOMESQUARE - which I’m still dealing with. They offered me an $89.00 refund on a $900+ purchase which to think is totally inadequate OR I could order replacement parts. However, they did not say where I could find the part numbers!! I’m so disgusted now that we will just keep the damaged items. I don’t expect a refund from these guys. Suffice to say, HOUZZ is FOREVER off my online vendor list no matter how good their products might be. BUYER BEWARE!
Contact the BBB and get their rating…
Contact the BBB and get their rating taken down from A to F. Houzz has really bad business practices. I got one communication that was really snarky about how to track my item. I am a seasoned online shopper, I know how to navigate a website. After that, crickets. They took my money but I got zero tracking or confirmations. No company should take your funds from your account without having stock of the item you ordered.
Ordering items is a nothing but a big scam!
Wow, are you kidding me!!? I ordered a "Chairside End Table" from their website. I got a confirmation email, and a prompt charge to my credit card. That was it. Nothing delivered, no status on shipping. No reply to my emails. I waited nearly a month, and submitted a "dispute" on my credit card, which they promptly reimbursed. Even a follow up email to complain, produced no results, much less a reply. I also will not take recommendations for contractors since they have lost all credibility. They are a big scam!!!
shady business that will cancel your order and hold onto your money despite how many calls you make to process your refund.
nightmare experience with this company. i placed an order that i was extremely excited about on 9/23. my order was confirmed and i was told that my order will ship by 9/30 and that tracking info would be provided by then. i called and waited on hold for 30+ mins on 10/1 since no shipping update was provide only to be told that my order was cancelled by the seller on 9/26. i was told that a refund would be processed within 5-7 days of the order cancellation. today is 10/8 and still have yet to receive a refund even after making a third call to houzz today and being told for the second time the refund has been processed and funds will go back on my card in 5-7 days. this is one of those unorganized companies that you have to constantly call and spend hours on hold with just to get them to do their job.
I placed an order online
I placed an order online. Was charged right away. I was supposed to get my product shipped in 3 days. I called them two weeks later. After holding for 10 minutes, I was told my order was canceled and they were going to refund my money in next 10 business days. Worst company to buy anything from. Stay away ans shop elsewhere. Their customer service is based outside of the US and you can't talk to a supervisor. What a joke.
Houzz is such a disappointment
I have been a very loyal Pro Account customer of Houzz for many years, paying tens of thousands of dollars for their services. Recently, I decided I no longer needed the Pro Account and repeatedly requested to cancel my subscription and return to the free platform. My account representative, Anthony Ramirez, assured me this would be taken care of. In fact, I even have an email from last month where he stated no further charges would be applied to my credit card.
Yet another charge of $1,017 was just posted. When I reach out, Anthony either ignores my messages or says they are “looking into it,” but nothing gets resolved. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. Houzz was quick to take my money for years, but now it seems nearly impossible to cancel.
Another week has passed since Anthony last promised this would be fixed, and I’ve gone from being a very happy Houzz customer to being incredibly frustrated. Please, Anthony Ramirez — fix this.
For context, this is the first negative review I’ve ever written in my life.
Small interior designer studio - London
As an interior designer in England, who has used this service, I would recommend not signing up paying their monthly fees. I got a very good deal of 2 areas for a few hundred a month. But when you only get 1 / 2 (mostly bad) leads a month, which you are also competing against lots of other interior designers for, its actually very expensive. Customer service isnt great, at first you need at least 3 reviews to get flagged on their system to get more leads, but then when you get to 3, you get told no its 5, and then as you can imagine, 10 is now the lucky number. Even with over 10, I only got 1 - 2 leads a month and nothing worthwhile. It ended up costing me more than I earnt from any work I won. As a new small interior design studio thats just set up, its just not viable. At the end of the year I tried to cancel, speaking to my rep months in advance about me not wanting to continues. A few weeks before it renewed I contact her to cancel and get told, you have to give 1 months notice. All the chats leading up to this I was never reminded of this clause in the contract. And as you can imagine, it automatically signs you up for another year. I have now put my company on hold, which means I am no longer trading. And have emailed to cancel my contract with them, but over a month has gone past and my account manager hasn't even 'been able to' set up a meeting with her manager to speak to him about it. So each month that goes by they keep taking out the monthly fee.
Maybe when it was first set up Houzz was great, I know designers who signed up when it was still a new company and got lots of work from it. Now, its got too many paying designers, and not enough work to go around. Every design event i see they have a stand and sign up more and more designers, leaving all the paying ones with no work.
All reviews / people i have spoken to say its notoriously difficult to cancel / get more leads from them.
Maybe as a larger company who can offset the costs against larger projects its fine, but as a small new inteiror designer / design studio, I would avoid.
Shop.houzz.com. Beware the return process of furniture.
I purchased a kitchen pantry cabinet from a manufacturer named Crossley Furniture from shop.houzz.com.
The cabinet arrived unassembled in a box via Federal Express The box was sealed with flimsy clear plastic tape, and had gashes in the cardboard. Once opened, I found that several of the parts were cracked. The back of the cabinet was made of a thin piece of material resembling painted cardboard.
I contacted customer service at Houzz to request a return and the customer service rep told me I needed to submit photos. The return form on their website did not allow me to upload photos, so she sent an email requesting photos.
I submitted the photos and called customer service back to find out what the next step in the return process is. Another rep said she would submit and ticket and they would get back to me. I asked how long it would take and she did not have a clear answer.
She said since they converted to a new software system and to the shop.houzz.com website, there was not a clear process for returns. This is not an acceptable response from a company regarding a return request of a damaged item.
We weren't aware that if you don't…cancel
We weren't aware that if you don't cancel with this Company, they automatically go to your account and take another years dues. We never received anything from them the first year. Completely false promises for customer leads.
Houzz scam
I was using houzz for all of 2024 and part of 2025. I had 1 region and would get 1 and sometimes 2 jobs per month. I also referred houzz to a couple of friends who owned businesses in the same industry.
In 2025 I decided to increase spend and purchased 4 more zones. I didn't get any jobs after the increase. I was spending 5 times more than I was originally spending.
I asked if they stopped ad spend or something because I wasn't getting any jobs. I couldn't continue paying because work had literally died off. They said I had to continue paying because I had a contract.
Besides not being able to access my account they post a in big red letters on the public page "Business Profile Suspended". Which at the end of the day is fine but they continue billing you monthly for their service. They said that I am paying for the profile to be up.
So I get a call from collections today. Asking me if I can borrow money from my family or something. Basically getting collection call from a marketing company who I feel didn't perform the services promised.
Im not paying over 2k a month to them. If anything I want a refund for what I did pay.
Bad, scam professional on Houzz
I found a professional on Houzz, and it turned out to be a disaster. I wanted to leave a review, but Houzz blocked it. There’s no transparency, and it seems you have to pay to post reviews that favor professionals. This system ends up helping poor-quality professionals find clients.
Bought a bathroom vanity
Bought a bathroom vanity. 2 days after I ordered it went on sale. I called to get the sale price and they refused. They refused to cancel my order. They refused to let me speak with a supervisor. Said I most likely wouldn't get a call back. Very rude and unprofessional. They described their sale as an error not to be honored.
Worst company ever they are the biggest…
Worst company ever they are the biggest scammers. I highly suggest do not hire them. They will take money out of your bank account without your permission. Once you call him they won’t give you an answer. They will give you a runaround.
If I could rate a 0 I would
If I could rate a 0 I would. One of the worst programs I have ever used. Houzz does not go thru your leads and make sure they work for what you do as a company. There pushy with there leads, once you sign up there no help at all to with leads or to try and grow your business . Save you money
I had many discount codes for Labor Day…
I had many discount codes for Labor Day and none of them worked. It's like a bait and switch. Very discouraging. Esp bc we already bought 2 sets of furniture, we were adding more pieces to the sets before they sell out.
