Amr Aswany is the only guide you need
Amr Aswany is a great and knowledgeable guide well versed in Egyptian history and culture. He showed us all the high points of the museums we visited in our two day overnight tour, took us through the pyramids, discussed the Sphinx and got us the best camels to ride. His choice of restaurants was spot on.
Our driver, Hassan, was a master driver as he negotiated the roads to our destinations.
They will be my only choices upon returning to Egypt.

Great Cairo City Tour
We were lucky to meet Amr Moses again for Cairo City tour.
He took us to Egypt Museum, hanging church and surprisingly he brought us to Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church where St. Mary, St Joseph and baby Jesus believed to reside for 3 months while they escaped from King Herod. He explained with passion about interesting history behind many of significant structures and artifacts. He guided us very efficiently through the crowd which enabled us to finish today’s tour before getting too hot and too tired.
Lastly he took us to traditional Egyptian food restaurant for lunch. It was delicious and plentiful.
Another day of grand site tour in Cairo!

Two of our tour guides, Mohamed Eldaw and Yasser Samir were great. They were knowledgeable, had good communication skills, friendly, patient and professional.

Cairo one day
We had a good experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful. Cairo is a very interesting city. We saw the Muhammad Ali Mosque and the Cave Church. It was a very interesting ride to the church. We then went on a faluka Nile River ride which was fun and ended with lunch. Our only issue was it seemed pricey for what we did. I recommend bringing sunscreen and being trusting of your driver to navigate the streets of Cairo.

Mediocre Quality
As many else I searched the internet for a good travel agency, who could give a good experience visiting Egypt for the first time. Based on the reviews, I choose this agency. In general everything worked as planned and agreed. The guides Basant and Mahmoud were so friendly and helpful all the way. This was the best thing apart from visiting the beautiful sites both in Cairo and Luxor.
On the other hand I would definitely not recommend anyone to take the cruise down the Nile as we did. Totally not worth it. The cruise or whatever you would call it was so lousy and the food was very bad. Besides that you spent a lot of time doing nothing on the boat as there is nothing to do. Visiting Aswan was totally waste of time and money. Seeing a damn that’s it. Instead I would have gone directly from Cairo to Luxor and stayed there for a full day.
The hotels are okay but definitely not five stars and If had chosen my hotels myself I would have chosen some better ones.
Another not so great experience was that there are lot of time wasted because of poor planning from the agency. And at the end we also had some bad planning. Our flight from Hurghada was at 6 pm, but they had us check out at 12 pm even though it takes maximum 20 min to the airport. Not satisfying at all. So Instead of doing nothing at the lobby and as suggested by the agent we could go to the airport earlier. We decided to do that, but what came as a surprise to us was that the airport wouldn’t allow us in so we had to sit just outside. Apparently this is normal procedure, but how in hell didn’t the agent know this. As a complementary the offer us a takeaway dinner back in Cairo which I declined.
Anyway this is my subjective but honest opinion about the agency. In total the quality mediocre and therefore 3 starts.

Exceptional insight and care from Ghada Kamal
Ghada Kamal was an outstanding guide personable, patient, and deeply knowledgeable about ancient Egypt. Her explanations of each site were clear, historically accurate, and rich in context.
