Rob responded very quickly to various emails, about a new LPG contract, from me and all his replies were helpful and as I'd hoped for.
I was sent the necessary forms for a new contract online and quite quickly and easily these were completed and reviewed.
So, rapid actions from AVANTI gas that provided me with a 2 Yr LPG contract that was just as I had hoped for

Having to renew my contract I found the AvantiGas portal somewhat confusing to use and it took me a while to locate my current price per litre. At least when I phoned I got through quite quickly to a human who was informed and helpful - phew! and thank you Les, for offering a lower price than last time.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Appalling customer service — unresponsive, unhelpful, and trying to overcharge
We’ve been trying to get AvantiGas to collect their LPG vessels from our property for almost a year. Despite numerous calls and emails, the tanks have sat unused on-site, taking up valuable space and disrupting our operations.
When Avanti finally scheduled a collection, they had the audacity to warn that we might be charged if access wasn’t available — despite the delay being entirely down to them. Even worse, they tried to charge £460 + VAT for tank removal, a fee not listed anywhere in their terms and conditions.
After raising these concerns, the reply we received was dismissive and unhelpful. They refused to confirm that no charges would apply and offered no apology or accountability for nearly a year of delay.
This level of service is unacceptable from any company — let alone one handling something as critical as gas infrastructure. The customer care, communication, and professionalism from AvantiGas have been abysmal from start to finish.

Deliveries are usually pretty spot on and the drivers are solid, however, the head office can be a bit hit and miss, especially last year at Christmas when we ran out of gas and tried contacting, with promises of calls back and emails, but never to receive anything (though we have not had a bad experience with Rihanna, she's been amazing recently helping with account issues) and the wording of some things can be a bit misleading. If you give them your readings and pay a decent amount on direct debit (which we were not initially setup for so the account went into incredible debt) you'd be fine, but do your maths and don't let them tell you otherwise.

I received a bill today for £50 plus VAT detailed as ‘Niltakers’, this is presumably because we have failed to have a delivery from the company for a long time. I pay their charge for the tank rental by direct debit but was never informed that there was a charge levied for not using their product.
I would have preferred that the company made me aware of this condition within the contract, or at least by contacting me. I have been outside of contract for several years and I am a minimal user, mainly due to cost.

I received a telephone call on Friday, Avanti did indeed offer options, a free uplift of a tank which is now well over 20 years of age. This sounded attractive, but the gauge on my tank is still showing 60%. Avanti will pump the gas out at a cost of £280 plus VAT, as the tank hasn’t been checked for several years the gauge may not be giving a correct reading, but until the boiler ceases to function that’s all I have to rely upon.
I have asked Avanti for a copy of my contract, to date, and despite assurances this has not been received.
I have no record of having received any written changes to my contract being received by me.
I await my contract details as agreed on Friday.

AvantiGas seems not to know the meaning of customer service. I have been waiting for SIX MONTHS for a date for the removal of their LPG tank which is still on my land and blocking the building of a garage.
OK….I understand people and companies can be very busy, but to not even have given a date is just ridiculous.
If you have a choice - steer clear of this company!
