I did not know who to contact

I did not know who to contact , and rang AB Energy to see if they could help. I made an appointment for their engineer to visit. The representative (Andy) turned up exactly when promised. He spent time listening to me outline the issue, and then he started testing the system. He explained to me what he was doing and why. He quickly identified what was needed and then did the repair. He then checked the rest of the installation, again explaining as he went. I learned a lot from him.

Fantastic company

Fantastic company! It’s the first time we’ve used them and they were quick and efficient with a really clear charging and billing process. Will definitely use them again.

very helpful information and responsive to my enquiry

I had a number of questions to ask, and despite there being no financial reward as I am outside of their geographical area, or any other benefit for that matter, they rang and spoke to me at length, giving me very sound advice and taking care to answer my questions. They were very informative and helpful, and I only wish they were nearer!

Troublesome Froling P4 Pellet Boiler

I have owned a 25kw Froling P4 pellet boiler for 10 years which, has always been moody and beset with problems. Several engineers over the years have attempted to troubleshoot and have the system working as it should but all have failed. I was ready to scrap this one and buy new from a different manufacturer and contacted AB Energy, via their online form, to enquire if they would be interested in offering me a price for my current boiler. Thirty minutes after submitting the document I was contacted by the General Manager, Ben Fisher, who was incredulous that I was about to scrap a ten-year-old Froling, saying the idea was absurd as this manufacturer was one of the best. He told me that they look after almost ninety of these boilers and assured me that, whatever was wrong, they would fix and have the machine running as it should. It took two visits and some online support but they have succeeded and for the first time in a long time I feel confident in the knowledge that I have found a company whose employees know what they are doing.
Many thanks to Hayden and Tom for site visits and to Ben, Andy and Dave for reassuring phone conversations and technical advice.
I do appreciate that this knowledge, experience and service doesn't come cheap but when I remember that I was on the cusp of spending around £20,000 on a replacement, I'm delighted.

Hayden did a great job

The excellent Hayden serviced my biomass boiler for the first time today. He arrived in time, was polite and knowledgeable, professional and friendly, and answered reams of questions. He made the App work which the previous engineer had failed to do for four years. Nothing was too much trouble. Such a pleasure! Such a relief!

They have changed my bio mass life entirely!!

I have owned and run a log gasification boiler for ten years. In that time I have gone through four different companies to help me maintain it and it has been one thing after another with one engineer saying one thing and another saying something different. The only thing they all had in common was that no one could solve the problems we have had running it. We even had to send the boiler back to poland to be refurbished! I signed on with the AB Energy Centre just over a year ago and they understood exactly what to do. Unlike all the other repairs and even though green energy parts etc are very expensive, it didn't cost thousands either. I reckon what their engineer recognised almost immediately has been wrong since it was first installed and everything else was a result of that fault. It runs perfectly now as I always imagined it should. What's more is that they are there to help. Finally there is someone who supports me. In this world of a myriad of green energy options, it seems reliable true experts are hard to find. Many want to sell you systems but not many have actually run them. These guys have. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They have changed my bio mass life entirely!! lol

This company are VERY expensive

This company are VERY expensive. The service engineer spent approx. 3 hours servicing (cleaning) my wood burner £390/3=£130/hour
The service report also stated “Not familiar with controls” so how they were able to service???
Be careful to get a price before you request a visit, and watch the clock
