Beware: Swedbank and 3 Kronor Insurance Are Not Student-Friendly!
As an international student in Sweden, I had the misfortune of dealing with Swedbank and 3 Kronor Insurance. Recently, I lost my house keys and my apartment owner charged me 850 Kr to open my door. I submitted a claim to 3 Kronor Insurance, expecting some support. Instead, they rejected my claim, stating that it was simply "bad luck" and not covered. However, if my keys had been in my backpack and the backpack was lost, they would have covered it. This is an absolutely ridiculous and infuriating response!
To make matters worse, I can't even cancel this useless insurance until October. When I signed up through my bank (Swedbank), they sent me a pile of documents in Swedish, a language I can't read or understand. I feel trapped and deceived by both Swedbank and 3 Kronor.
For any international students considering coming to Sweden, I strongly advise you to avoid Swedbank and 3 Kronor Insurance. They have shown themselves to be completely unreliable and untrustworthy. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated by their complacency and lack of support. Save yourself the headache and find better alternatives!
