Didn't have to do anything extra, the website and database just did their thing behind the scenes - I bought a folding knife from an online retailer and I'm pleased to be reminded that there are safeguards in place to restrict this to over-18s.

Couldnt confirmed age via id after trying 20 times. Claimed its too blurry but dont have a focus feature in app. Yes i cleaned lens, took picture outside in broad daylight and played my camera app. I have s22 and can clearly see and have used with other platforms successfully.

It was very easy to see the range of knives that were available in Savernake Knives's sale. It was then easy to select the one i want, to select the handle colour and write the engraving. Their website is very user friendly and simple to navigate. It was quick and im now excited about my new knife arriving.

The whole process took a few seconds. From placing order to confirmation was straightforward and simple.

On my first online order, I had to verify my age.... ok, fine, I understand that. However, after reading through this dodgy looking text, then receiving an email that also looks dodgy, I finally verified I am of age (after constant failed attempts).
The texts keep coming in every day, each day for awhile repeating ‘Verify’ on every order I place online that requires age verification. The same with their emails. I order from a specific site, and these rouges have received my details without my consent.
Their email message states, very clearly, “Once you have verified, you will not be asked to verify again for future orders”. This is clearly a lie, as I keep getting the same emails & texts everytime I order vapes online, plus the repeating age proof I do , keeps becoming constant fail attempt.
I have tried to contact them, and yet they sent two replies, the second being a lie, by telling me that my request (16810) has been updated and closed............ and yet I still get their emails and texts. I cannot block the texts as there is no number!!!! In addition, the emails will be blocked soon, after I give a little time to see if there is a reply to this feedback.
On the government website, KYC AVC UK LTD is classed as Business and domestic software development. Why the constant repeated emails etc? Thus making me suspect scammers and scanners.

Great company. Blacknote forte is what I usually get but they do lots of products. What I like about this company is their responses to me. They care about each customer. I've experienced this a number of times from them from different staff, so I assume everyone gets the same treatment. I recently spoke to a staff member who went above and beyond for me, a very high level of customer care with these people. I've never had a bad experience with them and used them for years
