I ordered a bike in September 2025. When I had some questions and asked for confirmation of the weight and size, I got freshly taken pictures of the frame size and weight within 24 hours. Excellent service!
The bikes condition was perfectly documented by the listed pictures online. It was shipped quickly and super-well packaged. Assembling the cockpit and front wheel took 10 minutes and I was ready to go. Shifting etc. was already set up very well.
The delivery did not take long and was done well (DHL Express for me).
Overall a great experience and I already recommended Tuvalum to friends and family if they ever need a good deal on a bike!

I was a bit hesitant about buying a used bike online, but my experience with Tuvalum was outstanding. I initially ordered one bike but had second thoughts about its size. I contacted customer service, and they were amazing. They helped me switch my order to a different Trek Domane that had just been listed, and they handled the change instantly and without any problem(thank you, Laura!!).
The bike was shipped to Romania very quickly and in great condition. I'm very happy with my purchase and especially impressed by the professional and accommodating customer service. I would definitely buy from Tuvalum again.

I tried entering an order using payment in 4 installments. The process never went through fully, I couldn't provide the required identity pieces. I tried contacting them via the phone number presented on their web page, the phone never responded. I found they have Facebook page providing a different phone number. This number didn't respond either. There is a Whatsapp link on the order pages and I submitted a conversation with no response after a 45 minute wait. Shortly after submitting a first negative rating, I received a response to the Whatsapp contact. I also, through different attempts, managed to pass the order during this time. Apparently the problem was related to my navigator. The customer service confirmed they had my phone call attempts to reach them recorded in their system, and explained they were very busy on Monday mornings.
I asked if it was possible to modify the tire size (it was not indicated in the description) and they responded it was too late, the order was already placed (even though it hadn't been prepared for shipping yet).
I received the bike rather quickly. Good packaging, however one of the innertubes was designed for very large racing wheels so the valve stem was extremely long. There are a few scratches and scars that didn't appear in the photos online. Still, a very nice looking bike, and I am happy with the quality to price ratio.
I also encountered one of the commande batteries went flat after only around 2 hours of riding. This was confirmed with the SRAM application. I think that if the bike was thoroughly controlled, the battery should have been replaced before shipping; it should have already been seen as near end of life, since they are given an expected life of 1 to 2 years.
I would have given a better however I found just a few too many areas for improvement :
1: contacting them and getting a response should be easier.
2: Photos should provide some details to scars and scratches
3: Details of tire size and wheel types should appear in the description.
4: Quality control should be more thourough (battery life control, innertube type).
5: A special request (such as tire size change) should not be a definative "No" if the order hasn't been prepared for shipping yet.

TLDR: Good bike, but very poor customer service after initial mechanic issues.
I chose this to get a second-hand and fully certified bike from a place I could trust - but this was definitely not delivered...
If you buy from here, you need to be very vigilant in pushing from the beginning to get proper material, because they will not help you later on.
Initially, I was very excited about Tuvalum. I wanted to have a bike in Spain that I can use whenever going to the area.
However, after having biked only 200 km on the bike, I discovered several issues (beyond this, I am happy with the bike - but of course worried what else might be wrong with it).
Initially, one of the spokes fell off down a mountain.
I then took it to a mechanic, who discovered:
- Spoke was not fastened (why it fell off)
- The tires are of very old quality and need to be replaced
- One of the disc brakes was not 'polished' making breaking dangerous and it becomes easy to slide out when breaking
- On the disc brake, there was not put a security metal on the lock
- Rim tape on one wheel was completely out of place and had to be changed (also a bit dangerous given the risk of exploding the tube..)
Tuvalum has provided me with a very dissatisfactory answer and informed me that the bike left the premise in perfect condition (clearly not true) and that I should have been able to find all these issues myself when picking it up in the store (no idea how, unless I should have asked the mechanic to completely disassemble the bike).
What is worse, they conclude the mail by stating that since I have done repairs without their consent (which I had to do on the same bike ride to get home), this may affect the warranty... Hope that is not the case by simply changing a bad rim tape, and by reattaching a poorly fastened spoke.

If you plan to buy a bike and save money, then Tuvalum will be the right choice. I bought my dream bike Orbea Oiz 14 days ago. I didn't have the money for a new one and I saw their ad for a refurbished one. The communication was fast and they even accommodated my requests and I got a discount plus a gift. The bike was shipped immediately after payment and arrived undamaged and well packaged. After unpacking, I was pleasantly surprised, the bike looked like new, as if it came from the factory, no signs of use, scratches and such. The bike works perfectly and makes me happy. For me, I can only recommend Tuvalum.

They were extremely helpful and the bikes are great. Very responsive and helpful via email when I had to return my bike and I was refunded in full, although the return policy is quite unclear on the website (would recommend that they amend it to voice any issues in future).

I visited showroom to take a look on a bike that I found on tuvalum site. I got a lot of attention from manager, he was very pleasant and polite.
In a 15 minutes I bought bike, because by ocasion it was assembled and waited for me.
I can mark my experience with Tuvalum staff as very positive.

Bought used bike at a much higher price than off-line shops. I thought that given this higher price, the quality of the bike, the transparency of information and customer care would be the added value.
Once arrived, the bike was found to be non-compliant as a piece of the fork was broken (the thread of the axle to house the rebound adjuster). And this despite repeated assurances about the meticulous checks that are done on the bikes. I double checked on the site and I couldn't find any trace of the rebound adjuster in the photos (it's red and you can see it clearly in the manufacturer's photos). Hence I'm pretty sure the bike has arrived without it.
The after-sales service was formally correct, but I had to keep the bike stationary for weeks so as not to risk doing damage in case I had to send it back. And I still don’t have the rebound adjuster but only a small refund.

It took however 1 month to fix the problems and at the end the bike arrived with a broken wire, the chain was new and had to be cut and mounted and I had to spend more than 100 euro to fix what should have been done by them. The only positive note is the commercial dept. as they are ready to respond but useless when it comes to technical problems. Never again.

Bought a very expensive time trial bike with this company.
Opon assembly I noticed that a shifter cable was broken.
They claimed that Everything Worked before shipping.
They did show me a video that Everything Worked properly so I Will give them the benefit of the doubt on the cable.
Also when I opened it my shimano system did not turn on because the battery was empty, this is strange because they said they charged it overnight.
So I tried charging it but the charger die not work. They claim I did not plug it in right.
So I brought it to a bike shop to fix the shifter cable and the mechanics tried to use my charger but same issue.
They called me and they said that the battery might be damaged so they estimated a 600 dollar repair Bill.
After a day they found out that the battery was fine but the charger did not work so the repair Bill was 400 because they did not have that exact shifter system.
Whatever the cost of the repair Bill was its not relevant.
I feel like they could have fixed it for Cheaper but I was not going to send my bike back 1000miles
They forgot a computer mount aswel.
They added new parts to the bike which they claim are paid by tuvalum, but I paid 70 euro's. What they spend on these parts was probably more is my guess so on that note it was Nice to see.
This was my story.
I feel like my story is Just a case of very bad luck.
So I Will give them the benefit of the doubt again.
