Lots went wrong. At the start no one would get back to me after a month I reached out again, Then I was contacted and the guy was good, We placed the order. It came right away, It was not complete as I am missing the siren still have not heard from anyone. When I ordered I was told that the motion sensor were 100% good for outside use but I see that they are not. The guys that I called to set up was good. The camera is not what I expected. Your install instruction are terrible for a first time user. Your wait times to try to talk to someone are absolutely unacceptable.
Of course we paid enough to protect our home, but considering how it becomes necessary to find a good security solution, as the law is not always on your side. This company has a proven track record and my recommendation from my neighbour, who hadn’t any problems with his new door. I got the same door with smart alarm system and made from good materials, no chance to be broken, unless somebody comes with some heavy machineThe best about my XP with them is definitely: stuff. Knowledgeable, professional, polite, an example of how service should look like. If only I knew names…

Installation was incredibly easy with the help of their great customer service rep. The app is so easy to use. Thinking of adding more than the basic security services.
Your technical support person was friendly, patient and helpful in getting our system set up and running. We did get notifications immediately when the front door security terminal was moved ( to paint the door). One thing that could have been done differently was for the original sales person to establish that we have a metal entry door. He would have provided a larger, I understand, terminal that would work on a metal door. As it is we improvised and made this one work though the cap is very easily giggled off.
Delivery was the worst experience ever. Got shipped twice the wrong product. Then was told sorry for the error and they would take note and offer 1 month free monitoring on the system. When we called there was nothing on their notes. So no free month was recorded. Set up person on the phone was nice after being on hold for 2 hours. I honestly wouldn’t recommend them. If I could get my money back for the product I would. Just a bad experience from beginning to end

I first called Think Protection on July 9, 2025 to ask some questions about their security systems. They sent me a quote via email that day for their Total Protection package, but I wasn't sure I wanted to go ahead with purchasing it at that time. I took another look at their website later in the month and noticed that they had updated their equipment, including new sensors and a new touchscreen (rather than an LED keypad), which appeared to be more modern and user-friendly. Given the update to their equipment, I decided to ahead and order the new Total Protection package on July 31. When I called, I didn't refer to the previous quote that they had sent me -- I just asked to order the Total Protection package as it appeared on the website. Unfortunately, when they sent me equipment on August 5, I was sent the outdated equipment. The sensors didn't look the same as those on the website at the time of my order and they sent me the keypad for the Value package, not the Total Protection package. (To be clear, even before the update, the keypad for the Total Protection package was an upgraded version relative to the basic version that I received.) I assumed this was sent in error, so I called back and politely requested assistance with the issue. After several phone calls with various representatives, no one has even acknowledged the fact that I was sent different equipment than what I'd ordered on July 31. I was told several times that I was sent the correct equipment and that they would not be able to replace it. Yesterday, one of their sales people was kind enough to offer me a full return of this system and to order the new system at the same price as what I had originally been offered, which I do appreciate, because the price has since increased by $30. I haven't decided yet if I will simply return the system and walk away from this company, or if I will go ahead and purchase it again after all this trouble. While some of their employees are helpful, it seems that the leadership is not taking responsibility to ensure that their orders are properly fulfilled and accurate to what is posted on their website. I feel rather hesitant about entrusting the security of my home to this company.
TLDR: You can't really trust what they have posted on the website. If you order a system from them, confirm that you'll receive each piece of equipment (touchscreen, sensors, etc) as shown on the website. It may be wise to record the conversation, to protect yourself in the event that they send you wrong or outdated equipment.
The the customer support is truly helpful
Simple installation.
Great customer service and tech support.
Lost supervision for one of my zones unexplainably this morning. It came back online after a few hours.
Service agent had patience and helped me with the install until I was completely satisfied..thank you!
The customer service people are not engaged after using them for over 10 years. You would think that if you inadvertently tripped the alarm they would want to verify that it was you but this has never happened in over 10 years of accidentally tripping the alarm. The lights are on but no one is home !

Terrible customer service, they are closed on the weekend, so hopefully you have no problems with your security on the weekends because they don’t believe in dealing with any issues if it’s Saturday or Sunday.
