Excellent customer service. Great present idea , box damaged in transit but tree was fine. Issued with a refund voucher. I would definitely use again.

Customer service is fabulous. Our original plum tree sadly did not thrive but as soon as we contacted them many months after delivery they immediately arranged a replacement.
When Royal Mail delivered the replacement to the wrong house they sent out another.
The leaf spray has boosted many of their existing trees too!
Packaging is beautiful and my in-laws are very happy!
Good customer service
The wild plum tree arrived looking rather sorry for itself. I contacted The Present Tree and sent a photo. A (much healthier!) replacement was sent promptly and without quibble. Thank you for very polite and patient customer service.
Myself and my cousin both ordered trees…
Myself and my cousin both ordered trees as gifts. I ordered first (well in advance but set to be delivered a few days before) and he thought it was a great idea for his parents. I had a myrtle tree to be delivered to my grandparents.
His delivery was fine. Mine was late for Christmas which was very embarrassing to be empty handed on Christmas day. When it turned up 3 days later all seemed fine. When I asked my grandparents months later as I assumed it was going well, they told me the tree had in fact arrived dead but they didn't want to tell me and upset me. Very disappointed.
I received a lovely wild plum tree in…
I received a lovely wild plum tree in June 2024 as a birthday gift and it is flourishing nicely in a large pot, yes it may be delivered as a small like twig, however what do people expect when it’s delivered in the post. Totally have no complaints whatsoever and felt I had to write this review due to the many negative reviews I’ve read. Thank you The Present Tree, Cheryl from West Yorkshire
I received a stick
The quick email response is the only positive thing I have experienced. I brought my mother who lives near four hours away one of their trees for mother's day. All I can say is for £44 pounds I got a stick with three tiny roots on it.
Tiny twig arrived - table top decor not for garden!
Tiny twig arrived - very embarrassed to have sent it as a gift - I could have found a bigger sapling in the wild.
Suggest change of business bans to ‘Tiny twig present’ and to charge £10 all inclusive not £44 plus postage !
I am sending it back they can plant their pretty box - the trees are for the garden and should be that size not for dinner table candle 🕯️ decoration!
Only giving a 1 star rating because I…
Only giving a 1 star rating because I can't give 0. Product is nothing like the advertised tree and yes I know that all trees are different but I did not expect a tiny twig with no sign of life. £52 including delivery is ridiculous....I like to support new businesses but will now actually support my local garden centre. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!
No tree and no response to emails
Purchased a tree over a week before Mother’s Day. It was dispatched with delivery due on the Wednesday before by Royal Mail. By Friday the tracking info said it was still at the same sorting office it arrived at on the Wednesday. Contacted the company first thing to ask for advice and then since their site says they reply ‘usually with in moments’ I emailed again at lunch time as had no response. Their site says “ My parcel has not arrived… If it has taken longer than the stated delivery time, please let us know and we'll do everything we can to make it right.”
So I was hopeful they’d be able to send a replacement out the next day (since they’re advertising this on their social media) but no response at all.
Extremely disappointed in lack of any customer service and now I have go and search the high street for a present and am down nearly £50.
Bought a cherry tree for a family…
Bought a cherry tree for a family member's birthday, which turned out to be a TINY twig. Looks absolutely nothing like any of the photos on the website and is such a massive rip off! Just go to a garden centre instead.
Buy from a garden centre
My tree arrived the day before my birthday when it was requested to be delivered on the day. It was the wrong tree which my husband ordered. It has remained in its dormant stage for 3 months and I am pretty sure it's dead. I have endeavoured to contact the company however, they are removing my posts on facebook and not replying to any emails. Absolutely appalling.
Awful customer service
I ordered a tree. Got a notification from Royal Mail that it would be delivered on a day I would not be in. I changed the delivery date. I also opted out of Royal Mail safe space as there isn't a safe space around my house. The tree was delivered anyway, on the day I was not in, left in front of my house and stolen (unsurprisingly!). I got in touch with Present Tree, they initially refused a refund, sent me a voucher instead and said they would not refund as it was delivered to my house. They eventually said they would do a replacement but I had to pay for delivery. They stuck to this line until I quoted my rights to them. And then said they would send a replacement "as a gesture of goodwill". It was not a gesture of goodwill - it was my statutory rights. Really poor customer service. Until the parcel is delivered to me (or a safe space I have agreed to) then it is not deemed to be delivered and they are liable. Really disappointing.
Dont be fooled by the website buy in and don't believe their delivery date promise
The website tells the story of wonderful gift, wonderful packaging and a sentimental gift. However If they cannot deliver as they say they will - what is the point ?
A delivery date is important if it is a gift, I choose The presentree specifically for their delivery date. However 2 days past the agreed delivery date it is still NOT with the person whom I gifted. Upon contacting them for help and hopefully a revised order via a guaranteed delivery method I was met with an apology, and told Royal Mail are usually reliable and if I still dont have anything in 2 days time to contact back - what rubbish customer service. Your missing the point - its already late and you have done nothing to resolve this issue.
Never use again and will spread the word - your website is hype !
Fantastic customer care!
I received a beautiful plant that unfortunately come with some leaves damaged. Customer care was absolutely fantastic and gave me voucher and advise straight away.
Highly recommended!!
A huge disappointment for my ‘tree’…
A huge disappointment for my ‘tree’ delivery - a twig has been received with no card detailing the sentimental words I had thought about and written ! A huge disappointment for a special birthday - absolute rip off
Twig
Ordered a Hawthron tree for my partner at Christmas - I was so shocked - despite the website and guidelines suggesting it comes grown all I had received was a twig.
I’ve noticed others have had the same. Please be wary when purchasing and do not fall for the pictures of the website
Just a small twig
I was mortified to give my son in law a 10 inch fig twig for Christmas, which cost £48.
A Thoughtful and Beautifully Packaged Gift from The Present Tree
I recently purchased a pear tree from The Present Tree as a housewarming gift, and it exceeded all expectations in terms of presentation and quality.
From the moment it arrived, the care and thoughtfulness in its packaging were evident. The tree was nestled securely in an eco-friendly, biodegradable pot and wrapped in a beautiful hessian bag, giving it a rustic yet elegant appearance. A hand-tied ribbon added a lovely finishing touch, making it feel truly special as a gift.
The included care instructions were clear and helpful, ensuring the recipient felt confident in planting and nurturing the tree. There was even a thoughtful message about the tree's symbolism—prosperity and new beginnings—which made it a particularly meaningful gift for someone moving into a new home.
The tree itself was healthy, with vibrant leaves and a sturdy structure, reflecting the company’s commitment to quality. The recipient was delighted, and it made their new home feel instantly more special.
Overall, The Present Tree delivered not just a tree, but a memorable and heartfelt gifting experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and meaningful gift idea.
I ordered two small Christmas trees…
I ordered two small Christmas trees with lights etc.It looked lovely in pictures but the lights are cheap. The ribbons are smaller than depicted. I feel disappointed in the product. I saw same tree without dressing in Tesco for 10.00. If you buy lights add a few ribbons or balls probably save 30.00 per tree.
Have gifted three trees to separate…
Have gifted three trees to separate recipients, for a variety of occasions. All my friends have been delighted with their trees and to my knowledge, all the trees are flourishing!
