Five Star Review and here's why....
Been coming here since they opened two years ago, so I know this store very well.
While their private-label products are low-quality, specifically what they sell under their own name, Sprouts, other products such as dairy are the highest quality I've found anywhere, including Whole Foods. I am giving them a 5-star rating because their strength lies with their employees and the way their managers train them. Their sub-managers and managers run a tight ship, to say the least. When a product doesn't move, they discount it heavily. They are doing a huge turnover and cannot get goods back on the shelves fast enough. Their employees care very much about relationships with their customers. They are the friendliest crews I've seen in any supermarket chain, and give the best advice and recommendations in the business. I am writing this about the location in Delray Beach, FL, only, and have not experienced service in other locations, yet, to comment. Corporate should take a good, hard look at this location to see how a store should be run. There is a HUGE amount of work and moving parts involved in keeping a place with this kind of traffic spotless and well-stocked, but they do it extremely well.

When you go to the meat department, no bell or anything to get the butcher to see you. Have to get someone else from next department to let them know you are there. The butchers are good once you get their attention. Same where you buy sliced hem, etc. Have to go between counter to let them know you are there. Every week this happens.
Overpriced and over hyped.
Overpriced for the same thing you can get anywhere. The people are friendly and when I asked people why they shop there, they told me because the people are great. Publix has great staff and more selection for less money. I think Sprouts is for people who like small spaces for shopping and do not mind paying more.
Proof of id required
The internet does not seem to be clear about this. There's a reference on Google that as of Sept this year businesses have to request id on the purchase of alcohol. Then, immediately below there are references that say anyone over 21 or especially 31 is not required to show id. So... I'm 57 and unless you are blind or have no criteria whatsoever its pretty flipping obvious that I am a long way away from the age of 21. This did not stop Miss jobsworth at the checkout insisting that i show her my id with address or divulge my dob upon buying one bottle of white wine and one can of beer. Please. Just Please. This has not happened to me in Texas at the supermarket down the road. Use your brain. Now I'm unlikely to go back to a place where I think employees consider they have the right to wave it around on their customers. I do not appreciate having complete strangers glance at me and take note of my dob and address for no good reason and I won't be coming back. Congratulations on losing a customer, have a nice night. Buh bye!
Second time purchasing prepared meals…
Second time purchasing prepared meals that looked good, but tasted poor. Probably healthy, but if it tastes bad, why bother with it? Vitamins & supplements, Bakery, deli, produce Ok. All else: Nope.
Best supermarket in town in hands down…
Best supermarket in town in hands down I don’t care if anybody says these guys are the best we have
I have discussed this problem with the managers so many times…
I have discussed this problem with managers at the sprout stores over and over. The quality of produce is so bad, I have taken watermelons, peaches and other groceries back and asking them to bring us organic and healthy food. I have got produce that seats on the counter or refrigerator and decays from inside but outside looks perfect. I believe they are sprayed with Apeel and once you eat them the stomach get so bloated and painful. These contaminated produce should be at least marked and shared with us. I am not interested to waste my money and buy pure poison. These items are suppose to be organic. Organic means nothing anymore since USDA is so compromised. We are all aware that USDA and FDA are calculated and bought by Monsanto, pharmaceutical and petroleum companies so but Sprout as a distributor of food should have some conscious rule in this exchange. I highly recommend purchase from sprouts competitors who are local small businesses and farmers market to avoid this unjust act from these big corporations. I am hoping this time sprouts hear us. Maybe other people get involved and we can collectively make a difference in how we are being mistreated.
62% negative feedback as of 9/9/2025…
62% negative feedback as of 9/9/2025 says it all, sadly corporate is running this business to future bankruptcy =(
Hopefully they will change their policies toward the positive sooner than later...
I ALWAYS have a great experience…
I ALWAYS have a great experience shopping at Sprouts in Norcross, GA. However, I went to the Johns Creek location wanting to purchase from the Vitamin Dept the Castor Oil which Johns Creek had no more of. I called Norcross, spoke with Shauna one of the managers there who helped me and was told their was only one left on the shelf. I needed two bcuz it was a bogo sale. As busy as she was trying to assist me via phone along with navigating customers in the store, she went way beyond the call of duty to locate more quantities allowing me to travel there and make my purchase.
I shop there 2-3 timed a week simply bcuz of customer service and not to mention the managers specials etc. The entire staff in each department are top of the food chain rock stars bcuz of their stellar customer service. Thank you Shauna for going beyond the call of duty in my behalf.
I was at one of your stores
I was at one of your stores, I was in the vitamin area, and within a minute apart, I was approached by two people asking me if I needed help. This upset me, making me feel like they think I'm going to steal something. I've told the other people who have approached me that I don't need help and I don't like being approached. The second person that approached me, I said to her Look, come on, I'm not trying, I'm not stealing and I told her that someone had just come by and she got a little snippy and waved her hand down LIKE FORGET YOU, and walked off even though I was still talking. She also said to me Well, I'm sorry we don't have eyes in the back of our heads. But that's not the problem now. I asked her if the manager was in, she said yes, of course, as a matter of fact, I can get him, and I told her I did not want to talk to THE Manager, but I did tell her I needed her name. Got that. I was not treated as a valued customer. Although I told her I didn't want to talk to the manager, he showed up and started talking to me, and I told him that I didn't want to talk to him. That I did not ask for a manager, that I was upset, but he insisted and insisted that I speak with him. As we started speaking, he started turning the conversation around, even though I didn't want to speak with him, saying that I was being rude. I told him repeatedly that I did not want to talk to a manager, but he insisted. The Manager decided that I was being rude towards him and told me to leave the store, or he was going to call the police. I think this was way, way overdone. I did not deserve this treatment. I asked him if he had witnesses, and he told me yes, and the whole time a guy was standing behind me, I knew it. Again, I told this Manager I did not want to speak with him, he would not leave me alone, and then turned the conversation around that I'm the one being rude, although I told him I was upset, and he would not leave me alone!!!
The end of the conversation, it should have been, he didn't know how to get out of this; he was so afraid that I was going to go to corporate, and he would not leave me alone, and then he threw me out and threatened to call the police. That is so unacceptable. I'm not even upset about what happened between me and the salesperson. This is now focused on the manager and the way he treated me. Throwing me out of the store. Wrong answer, there were no grounds to throw me out of the store! I also asked him if I could please finish my shopping, and he said no, like I was a criminal!
And again, let me stress, I told this man I was upset and that I did not want to speak with him, but he would not leave me alone!!!
It is hard to believe that Sprouts can…
It is hard to believe that Sprouts can stay in business with how "off the shelf" insane their policies are. They charge ten cents for a bag to put the items you purchase into. The insane zombies that devised that particular trash-my-business policy can imagine all they want how much better they are as people, but the reality is that the policy is wholey indicative of how truly "lost" the souls who made that decision are in the grounded-reality world. All of the Sprouts stores have cash-acceptance mechanisms that will NOT accept the cash efficiently, but will instead make a grinding noise and shake the cash bill as if the bill has leprosy and is being rejected for its lack of tolerance to the desired circumstances. Overall, the basic stocking of items is hit or miss at the very best. I could go on and on, but will suffice to end this rant by saying that I tolerated the idiocy of how poorly run this operation is mismanaged for years because of how convenient the location was to my residence. Fortunately, I have moved away from the insane Sprouts and thankfully there is not a Sprouts anywhere within miles of my new abode :-)
I stopped to get a few things and…
I stopped to get a few things and didn't have my bags. They actually wanted to charge 10 cents a bag! I'm quite certain it doesn't cost them near that so what's with the upcharge? I don't subscribe to overpaying for goods and not getting a vessel to bring it home in. I'll stick with Trader Joes thank you.
THEY SHOULD CALL THEMSELVES STALE I…
THEY SHOULD CALL THEMSELVES STALE I bought from Sprouts Fresh market , through Doordash another garbage company! The cinnamon roasted almonds were hard, smell rancid and stale! I buy these at Publix supermarket and they fresh and delicious ! BEWARE SO CALLED HEALTHY STORES ! I TASTED ONE ALMOND , SHOULD KNOW BETTER BY SMELL THAT IT CANT BE EATEN! FEEL SICK RIGHT AWAY!
Why doesn't Sprouts Farmer's Market measure up with the best customer service and employee training?
Sprouts FM needs to provide cultural sensitivity and anti-agism training.
For the second time I have experienced agism and racism in the Sprouts Farmer’s Market on Oakland Park BLVD in Oakland Park, FL. I just left there. I was ringing up my transactions in the self-checkout and paused to look for my card and an employee comes over, (the same one that treated me in a condescending manner before) without my requesting help and starts pushing the buttons for my transaction. She asked, in a condescending and ignorant fashion, “It wants to know how many bags you have.” I didn't ask for her help. I frequently use self-check out. She then pushes the buttons on my transaction. There was no line, no one was waiting. Why is she harassing me? She’s not helping. Please end this offensive behavior. This is the number one reason why I mostly shop at Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. Even Walmart is better with selection and pricing. The fact that Whole Foods was slow in acquiring 4031 seeded watermelons and Walmart was inconsistent with them, kept me coming to Sprouts. . But now that they all have them, I mostly avoid Sprouts because of lack of training of the staff and lower quality items in general.
I would like for someone from Sprouts Farmers Market to email me regarding this matter.
No customer service
No customer service. You need help? Tough. You're on your own because they can't be bothered. We were going to swap stores and use them instead, but they clearly don't want new customers.
On Saturday
On Saturday, July 27, 2025 I went to Sprouts Farmers Market for the first and last time. Their prices are way too high. A gallon of expired milk was $5.19 about $2.00 more than I pay for fresh milk. Fruits and vegetables were about a $1.00 to $2.00 a pound more than I pay at other supermarkets. Meat was way overpriced too.
SHOUT-OUT TO THE NEW SPROUTS FARMERS…
SHOUT-OUT TO THE NEW SPROUTS FARMERS MARKET IN DEERFIELD BEACH!!
Last weekend I headed out for a grocery run--and ended up having one of the most pleasant shopping experiences I've had in a long time. The store is bright, clean and beautifully organized. The atmosphere was calm, inviting, and easy to navigate.
What really stood out was the staff. Employees smiled and greeted me with a warm "Welcome!" That simple moment of kindness left a lasting impression and set the tone for the rest of my visit.
As I was leaving the store, I stopped to chat with the manager, Marcus. I thanked him for a wonderful experience and took a moment to recognize his team. His face lit up, and he said I made his day.
SPROUTS KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK WITH:
* Warm greeting from employees
* Clean, bright, and well-organized store
* Beautifully displayed produce
* A variety of natural products
* Genuine customer engagement
* A caring, attentive manager
* Uplifting atmosphere
Awesome job! What small touches or friendly moments have made your day at any retailer?

When I am shopping in the stores
When I am shopping in the stores, they are just fine. I love the convenience of delivery, but I have items substitued that were not satisfactory. Some items must be very near expiration as they spoil very quickly.
The folks that deliver them are swell, which leaves me wondering if Sprouts directs them to substitute the items that they do, and quides them to items that are close to expiring.
The date below is an approximate date as my comments were my overall experience and was covering 3 orders.
