I used the Smart Home Surveys earlier this year and they were above and beyond. Ian carried out the survey and was extremely thorough, and with his knowledge of 30+ years you feel in very capable hands. Adam (Head of Client relations) was of great assistance throughout the process. I have to say, this company stopped me from making a bad purchase decision.

I had a great experience with Smart Home Surveys. Communication was quick and friendly. Our surveyor was very professional and took the time to explain her valuation in layman's terms, which was hugely appreciated. The survey itself was thorough, efficient and clear. Highly recommended.

I rang five survey companies to get quotes and their timeline. Smart Home Surveys weren't the cheapest (or the most expensive), but they were able to send a surveyor within a week where the others only had availability between two and six weeks away. I was also reassured by their professional manner and rather uncluttered system. You have a conversation with them, they email you an invoice, you pay it, the survey is arranged, and then you get your report. I couldn't have asked for a more straightforward process.

We had a RICS level 2 survey because the house we're buying is in good condition. What we got back was more detailed than I expected and we were able to ask a few clarifying questions.

Good quality survey delivered within a few days. A month later I was facing some challenges and my solicitor made a recommendation for another survey. Adam took the time to give me a call and answer my questions. He didn't try to sell me another survey that I didn't need but gave me advice to help resolve the situation I was facing which I'm very grateful for.
