IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING REVIEWS.

Hello everyone,

We thought it was important to let all potential clients know that we have 400 + Google reviews.

We seem to be getting mixed up here with a firm in Scotland called 'SelectSurveyors' for some reason.

Please visit our website or reach out to our friendly team on 0203 6333155.

Many thanks.

I paid £1,620 for a Level 3 survey and…

I paid £1,620 for a Level 3 survey and received a report that was incredibly vague, generic, and glossed over major structural concerns. It was completely devoid of meaningful, property-specific observations and was significantly less detailed than a Level 2 survey I’d previously seen from the same company.

The difference? That earlier survey was done by a different surveyor. This time I was allocated the company director, who has clearly checked out. When I complained, the company dismissed it—offering no accountability whatsoever. I had to escalate to the ombudsman, who ruled the report was substandard and ordered a partial refund.

The many 5-star reviews may reflect the work of other individuals, but my experience shows the quality here depends entirely on which surveyor you get. That inconsistency is unacceptable when you’re paying this much for a professional service. If you must use them, then ask that you don't get allocated their director, Mike but to be honest I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

Missed dry rot

Commissioned Selectsurv for a Building Survey. They missed three separate pieces of evidence of dry rot, which cost approx. £10,000 in total to fix. Report also included sections that were not applicable to the property. No ownership of their mistakes and managed to evade compensation with help of the arbitration process that they subscribe to. Report not worth the paper it was written on. Genuinely terrible service and product.

Unreliable services

Unreliable services ,bad services. The reports are useless and do not include vital information when buying a mortgaged house. Wasted our money on a report which missed so many serious issues with the property. The woman who answered the phones chantel is not professional and she should not be working as a surveyor at this company.
