Best company, super service. Was travelling alone with an Infant and a lot of luggage. Driver arrived on time, helped me put the child in maxi cosi and even helped me find a bagage cart at the airport and make sure I got to check-in safely

First experience and totally satisfied: clear and easy-to-use site, driver on time, courteous who does not hesitate to lend a hand to carry the suitcases, transparency in prices (no more stress from the counters of classic taxis ), in short, I highly recommend them. :-)

We have booked a taxi from the airport and the main reason for us to book with Prestige Driver was them claiming on their website that you get a fixed rate and no surprises with them.

That was the biggest lie in our experience with them.

Their driver has arrived to the airport at the time when our plane landed - ridiculous business approach for the airport pick-up company. Did they genuinely assume the plane would drop us off in the car park?

On that day, we were unlucky and got stuck at passport control - queuing took us an hour. My partner has messaged the driver and explained that we got stuck in a queue. When we finally picked our luggage and went to look for the driver, he greeted us, helped with the suitcase and said nothing about the delay.

When we set off, he said that in addition to our €45 charge, we would need to pay €30 as it took us more than an hour to get through security and luggage pick-up.

Imagine this: you are in a foreign country, in a car with a man you don’t know who asks you for money. Car is moving, you can’t say no and leave, you are not in control. I personally did not feel safe and mainly because we have not seen anything about these additional charges anywhere, we started looking for them in the car and could fine nothing, so it felt like some sort of scam.

I asked my partner if we should call police and ask for help. The driver clearly heard the word ‘police’, started shouting, making odd comments and ended up just yelling, ‘Give me my money, just GIVE ME MY MONEY.’

Honestly, this is the worst taxi experience I have ever had. If I was on my own or with a female friend, I would have been freaking out.

I don’t know Belgian law, I cannot tell you how legal this behaviour was but it definitely was inappropriate from business’ and even simple human perspective.

Please, be safe and stay away from companies like Prestige Driver.

Incredibly professional driver - perfectly on time, kept contact as we landed and went through luggage collection, drove comfortably and safely, ... and all of this at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend using Prestigedriver!
