Great company with some excellent products
Cut a very long story short, I had an extension done with a flat roof way way back at the beginning of the year. Then we had named storms come through and I ended up with water marks in the new extension. Builders & roofers both came out and did fixes but by the 5th named storm and persistent water ingress, I decided to go over the coping stones myself as this is where the problem was.
I contacted polycote and every single person I dealt with was fantastic - I was all set to buy the most expensive, high grade roofing paint but they told me the actual product which would be best for my job (which was cheaper also) and got it all sent straight out to me with clear instructions etc.
this was January! I had other house finishing off jobs to do and have only recently gotten round to doing the coping stones in the last week (October!)
I got the products on just before the weather turned, they are very thick in viscosity and as I applied it I was confident that wind driven rain water wouldn’t be getting past the paint!
I pretty much just slapped it on as I needed functionality over form at this point but once the walls are painted white, the black polycoate’d coping stones will look really nice in contrast. They look great from the ground level, only when im up close in the roof, I can see small areas where the reinforcing fibres have clumped from the roller in places. Roller was faster but brush was smoother finish.
I’ve got a few other jobs still to do but I’d definitely use polycote products again for these other jobs.
Very happy with the paint and finally have peace of mind that no driving rain water will penetrate.
5 star company & people.

Amazing from start to finish
Amazing from start to finish. I initially phoned for advice regarding a concrete walkway as I had been given polycote’s contact details by a damp specialist, who advised their products are the best on the market. From my initial contact, Polycote were so helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. Polycote even arranged for the works do be carried out by one of their approved contractors which was so helpful and meant I didn’t have do this myself and was safe in the knowledge the contractors would be of a high standard. Nothing was too much trouble, even rearranging the installation date and short notice. Emails are responded to immediately, information is explained really well in a way that the every day person can understand and the approved contractors arranged by Polycote were also fantastic. I can’t praise them enough. Nothing was too much trouble.

Shocking Quality
They sent a rep around to inspect the site and recommended a product. Whilst I was initially pleased with the service, the product they installed was sub standard and started cracking. I reasonably asked someone to inspect and make good. They asked for a sample which I agreed to send them. The General Manager, named Clayton, then asked whether it would help me. I said no given I was not familiar with their products to which he rudely said he would not help and see me in Court. Never in my life have I experienced anything like it. It cost circa £8,000 for faulty flooring. Yes I will be taking the matter to Court

Polycote arent being helpful.
Polycote arent being helpful.. product has literally washed off, scratches easy, is different colours, isn't oil resistant we have stains from one oil change that was cleaned up immediately and its on a new base, properly dried out with their primer done by a very experienced contractor. The heating was on for a week at huge cost to ensure the temperatures were correct. The coating quite simply has failed.. it isnt hard or tough at all. One run of the trolley jack on the surface and it’s scratched to bits. Its actually worse than cheap floor paint! They are politely running us in circles and not dealing with the issue refusing to give anything other than the run around, avoid at all costs their product simply isn't right. They even said wash it with vinegar its salts from water dripping from the roof.. salts in water don't make the product not oil resistant, water soluble, patchy milky and two totally different colours even though allegedly the same batch. Very very dissapointed and if its not dealt with when I return from annual leave i am taking them to small claims court and putting everything on the internet with photo and video. Its just not fair for over a grands worth of failed paint and a ton of labour and other costs. I would not recommend their product to anybody as it is not as it should be all last three reviews are 1 star, wake up polycote it’s not us it’s your product that’s failing terribly…

I would never go near Polycoat again
I would never go near Polycoat again, there sales team and service are just not up to scratch.
Spent thousands on numerous new floors, within 10 days all the floors had discoloured, faded, and blotted in random places and our store was not even open yet, the floors had not even been walked on.
Their response was the water in their mix was either too hard, or too soft. Awful service. Stay well clear and don't listen to all there lies. Find another flooring specialist that know what they're doing. Also, there customer service department are rude.

Keep clear of Polycote
Unfortunately I am extremely disappointed about Polycote products and their sales service.
As a very experienced builder I felt that the products from Polycote looked good and I recommended their products and services which have turned out to be not fit for purpose and the customer service to deal with faults is non-existent. The Polycote recommended contractor was used to do a complete job incase of any issues. There are issues which Polycote and contractor are ignoring. No-one is taking any ownership or responsibility for the issues that have occurred for the customer. Shame on you Polycote. I will never recommend you ever again.

2nd review as you denied any knowledge…
2nd review as you denied any knowledge of my frist review. 2 years ago Polycote and there contractors coated my drive worse mistake I ever made as we are left with what only can be described as a mess Polycote blaming there contractors and the contractors blaming the Polycote product. (Emails to prove) After 2 year's of trying to get some help and support I have been told they are not prepared to help. The customer service received from Clayton Britchford sales manager has been absolutely disgraceful never once has he had the decency to discuss this matter over the phone. Take my advice stay away from this company quick to take your money then not interested. Mr Counsell. With reference to your reply yes you did second coat my drive but only because the first coat lifted as did the second coat and as for a refund you offered £211 a total insult when the total cost was nearly £3000 pounds and it's going to cost me £1000 to have your product removed by shotblasting so no you have not forfilled my expectations total joke.
