The telescope advertised is not the telescope I received. This is truly the epitome of false advertising. What was advertised appeared to be about 12" long, with a tripod that appeared to be 12" to 18" tall. What I got was a telescope about 6" long with a miniscule tripod. It doesn't magnify anything near what it's supposed to. In addition, it came from China so it took a long time to arrive. I would highly recommend that you avoid ordering from this company.

Total scam and fraud!! Same experience as other reviews. Did not receive the zoom monocular I ordered. Received a poor quality small inoperable excuse. No response other than canned from China! Contacted by credit card company and they reversed the charge. I rate them a zero!!!

I would give it a 0 if that were possible. My experience is the same as I now see are many others. They send a 3” piece of junk that is nothing like the item advertised. You can barely see 20 feet, much less 1.5 miles. Then they offer a refund only if you pay to ship it back to China (which costs more than it’s worth. Stay away from this. It’s a scam

If I could rate it less than 1, I would. I,too, received a telescope that was much less than what I paid for. After a couple of emails, the best they were willing to do was offer a 30%refund. DO NOT ORDER from this company. You will not get what you think you are getting.

Do not buy this product, they send you a little 3 inch thing that is completely useless, nothing like the telescope they show in the video. Make sure you never buy anything from Owthin again. I threw mine in the bin after a number of attempts to make it work.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this pathetic toy telescope. It is a SCAM.
I tried contacting the seller, not a hope, I sent numerous emails, no response. Tried getting money back through PayPal, no chance.
I was totally taken in by the advertisement on instagram I thought I was getting something special. It is worse than trash, totally useless plastic crap.
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM.

Another victim, I bought 4k super monocular telescope, end up it is a plastic crap. Contact the seller for full refund, they require me sending the item back to China, if there is no damage during transit, they can only refund 30%.
Dont waste your time to browsing Owthin website and spend money on their products

Update: after going round and round with multiple complaints to owthin and crogreat and getting nowhere, I simply contacted my credit card company (Chase) and reported owthin as being involved in online scams. I gave them the link to this site to verify my representation that I am not the only one being defrauded.

Chase reversed the charge on my account, so all is well. I suggested that they flag owthin as a scam operation, which hopefully will lead to owthin being cut off from being able to take at least some credit cards.

I encourage those of you who have similarly been burned by these folks to contact your credit card companies, dispute the charge as a fraudulent transaction, and encourage them to similarly look into blocking further charges from owthin or related businesses. (Per UK corporate records, the company behind owthin.com [Marul Company Limited] is a UK shell company that is owned by a Hong Kong shell company [Hawi Limited], which appears to be owned/controlled by an individual named Chenguang Jiang [of Shenzhen]. It operates numerous other websites perpetrating the same scams.)

Confirming It’s a Total Scam!!
So I purchased the 10x300x40 mm Telescope on August 5 and canceled it August 5 (same day). They would not reply to my email, so I continued to send more emails, concerning Canceling the Order. They replied to me when they knew I received my order. After showing proof of all my canceled order emails with Purchase Order #, which they ignored, they came back with “Nonsense Responses!”
I finally just gave up, sent a “Not So Nice Email” and I’m taking the loss!!! But I definitely feel bad for the less fortunate who have been scammed by them. This company should be shut down because every product they have, is false information and Junk!!!

I am another sucker that got sucked in by false advertising. It is a toy that you can usually pick up at a toy store for a dollar or two. There is no refund as they advertise. There is no real telescope. It is all a scam and totally false. Save your money. This outfit is only a bunch of thieves and should be charged and convicted accordingly

I ordered Owthin's 4K 10-300X40 mm Telescopes, what I received was a very low cost cheap imitation 60X40mm spotting scope. Several emails later after several discounts offers thrown at me, they continued to refuse to take back the junk they sent unless I paid for return shipment which they estimated at over $20 USD on a $60 purchase.
Don't trust this company and especially DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM OWTHIN or their other scam companies.

Not what was advertised. The quality is substandard. I have a similar monocular that I paid a lot less for and it by far the better device. They took over a month to deliver it, and if I did not know the pony express is long gone, I would think that was the shipping method. The advertisement leads you to think it is a zoom monocular which is not.

I ordered one of your 10x300x40 mm Telescopes ,what i received was not what was advertised, the Telescope I received is a spotting scope with none of its capabilities and you can buy at Walmart for less ,when i sent an email about this the reply was that the Telescope that I received was custom made and had the same capabilities this is not true

The issue at hand is not with the fraud company but with Facebook where they are advertising! I have yet to see anything of value being shown on Facebook! Time for a class action lawsuit!

Finaly i got 45% refound on the total amount (incl. shipping cost).
