NEVER BUY A NOKIA PHONE.

NEVER BUY A NOKIA PHONE.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE.
Send phone to get repaired due to failing to restart or charge.
Then they claim not under warranty and want £94 to repair broken screen.
SCREEN NOT BROKE!!!!
THE PHONE HAS BLACK SCREENED WHICH IS A COMMON NOKIA FAULT. .

Customer service incredibly bad.

Absolutely unbelievably poor customer service.
I have a broken Nokia Steel HR. The service personnel clearly have absolutely no idea of the product and do not read any replies to emails and questions that they have asked, simply repeating themselves, obviously reading off the same crib sheet. Now they want me to send a video in of the broken watch!!! Clearly they obviously think I am incapable of pushing a button!!!! Completely useless. What a waste of money. Do not go anywhere near this company or their products.

Nokia Care!

Left phone with Nokia Care Maidstone. Time that I could expect return of phone changed every time I phoned. Shop unable to tell me where phone had gone and claimed they were unable to track phone. Phone returned with no paperwork - have no idea what repair (if any) was done to phone. Kept on hold for 20 mins by Nokia Customer Services who were still unable to tell me the nature of the fault/repair. Love Nokia phones but would not buy again, or recommend, due to shoddy customer care.

bad service and bad quality phones

I have nokia 515 which was expensive and had only trouble from it. crashing freezing etc.
i sent it back for repair and they exchanged it. but not the whole phone. only the motherboard. i dont understand why they could not just change the whole phone especially when it was full of scratches and dents.
they were changing the motherboard anyway what difference does it make!!
they dont value their customers. i have had only nokias all my life!!
starting to rethink about it.

Were so much better

I have bought many Nokia phones over the years and their symbian phones were simply the best I have owned till date. Too bad they seem to have lost so much over the years and are now owned by Microsoft. For me, its been a good ride and truly the end of an era as far as I can tell.

Nokia Lumia 520 on PAYG? Beware ruinous costs.

The Nokia Lumia 520 is a Windows phone. and as such it seems to perform so far (a week) pretty much as advertised and as expected. What they don't advertise, and what I didn't expect, was the huge cost incurred by the phone, even when not in use. My Nokia has an Orange (EE) PAYG SIM card. What appears to happen is that the phone automatically performs frequent software and/or data updates whenever it's switched on (and what's the use of it if you can't leave it switched on?) These updates rack up your data costs at an alarming rate if you're on PAYG - mine amounted to about £60 in 5 days. It is by no means easy to discover what features listed in the Settings menu are causing this, (the Manual does not mention this problem at all, unsurprisingly) but by disabling most of them I seem so far to have stopped the runaway consumption of credit. I now have a phone suitable for voice and text communication, but can't afford to use it for anything else.
It may be that if I found a contract with unlimited data allowance this would not be a problem, but this too seems quite an expensive way of using a phone, given my limited usage..

Hopeless, I will never buy another Nokia

My Nokia N8 has been plagued with problems since day one. Whilst the hardware seems solid, the software/firmware has only got worse wit each successive update, leading me to believe Nokia deliberately degrade their phones in the hope we as consumers will blindly upgrade to their latest handsets.
Their customer service was appalling and they never resolved the issues.

I strongly advise AGAINST any dealings with Nokia in any capacity.

Very well!

Practically all my phones were from Nokia. I'm very satisfied about this copany's work, I just adore my phone. I suggest to everyone to rather choose Nokia, than for examlpe, Sony Ericcsson.
