Tried using RingGo and spent a delightful few minutes playing “find the car park”. Eventually managed to start a session and was greeted by a cheerful little timer counting down, reassuring me all... See more

AVOID !!
AVOID !!! Do not use their car parks- my experience was I paid my ticket , proof through bank transaction , received a pcr , appealed- 3 yrs later court time £460 as additional costs been put on- luckily I phoned the courts and had to fill online form out to havevthe case re opened- these shoddy companies ( who you can’t speak to in person ) think that the majority will just pay the fines, beware take it further !!
Myringgo is dreadful
Myringgo is dreadful. The other pay parking by phone apps are way better. I’ve had issues every time I’ve used it. Once it wouldn’t accept my c/card and said it was invalid. Then it wouldn’t accept a different debit card. I used it today in Reading and there was no pay machine, just a sign stuck to a lamp post. I phoned the number rather than use the app or website as I’d had so much trouble with them before. The number wasn’t available for use. So I used the website. It wouldn’t accept my password so I had to change it. Then my car had been registered with the wrong car make. This was because it had previously logged the wrong make from voice recognition when I had previously used the myringgo phone number. I had to delete the car and re register the car with the correct make. This made me late for my hospital appointment. I had already allowed an extra 45 mins in case the hospital car park was full which it was so I had to park in the street. If I need to park somewhere and I see MYRINGGO are the providers I think “Oh no not them again”!I’m sure we could all do without this extra stress just to park our cars. What a nitemare! It’s also a really stupid brand name as well. I can only assume that they provide parking facilities for local authorities much cheaper than their competitors. I hope they close down because they are absolutely useless!
You can't create accounts
You can't create accounts, you can't upload proof of evidence, if you click "remember this device", it will never let you log in again. A 5 year old could build a more functioning website.
Avoid this app
Took us forever to create a profile as it kept taking me back a page over and over. Didn't accept my email address but it's one I've had for years and every other site/app is fine with it! Ended up avoiding car parks that used this app exclusively.
Bloody awful
Bloody awful, can’t create an account because I already have one, can’t reset password as it tries to email my mobile number. Also 20p (in)convenience fee. The owner should have unthinkable things happen to them. Bastards.
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. They let you pay even when it is pay and display only!! I paid and still got a parking fine. Please do not trust these scammers. I have deleted the app.
This app needs to be shutdown
This app needs to be shutdown. Our first experience with it in Ross ended with our bank card being frozen and payment was made to a book store in Cyprus go figure. Yesterday we were at swallow fall car park downloaded app got linked to Connect Seven Fitness and hey presto another bank card gets closed down as £59 spent not by us. Also found a power button on screen which lights up put in reg scan card no problem £2 those that use ring go app £2.60 a 30% mark up. Banks told us not to use this app in future !!!
Park and have your credit card compromised?
Parked outside Berkshire Royal Hospital and paid the Ringo fee. Within minutes our card was compromised and funds taken. My card company were hot on the case and they stopped further fraud. Every time we use Ringo there's a problem. We were in two minds to stay when we saw we had parked in a Ringo area but frightened they would pursue us if we moved. (Identification that it was being run by them is very small).
Absolutely hopeless
Absolutely hopeless so-called AI Chatbot. Extreme;y frustrating time going round and round on the apptrying to get logged in. Finally "chatted" to someone who also failed to sort out the problem. Am binning the app.
App doesn't function properly
App doesn't function properly , keeps telling me my address in incorrect. Very difficult to upload documents. Ended up going to council in person to get a visitors parking permit and so far the wait has been over 2 hours. Last time I got a permit over the phone in less than 10 mins. I do not understand why council is using this ridiculous profiteering incompetent company.
The app sometimes doesn'toesn't work
The app sometimes doesn'toesn't work. In such case if you don't have your bank card for telephone payment, you only have to go home as there is no other solution.
I have also noticed that Ringo always charges a bit more than the parking price listed on the information at the specific location.
I hate the start stop thing I always…
I hate the start stop thing I always forget it and end up being overcharged. Total ripoff should turn off automatically based on car moving
Never !!!
Never !!!
In remote Scotland the Council have made the limited car parking RingGo . No surprise that they are largely empty and the ANPR CCTV etc are a waste of money. Which numpty decided to do this. Crazy. Look at the reviews and see the feedback !! Avoid at all costs
This company has my daughters vehicle…
This company has my daughters vehicle registered at 17817 for 2 hours when it’s only been there 1 hour so I can’t extend the time or repark I have tried to reach out to them but they have absolutely no customer service and should not be operating as a parking company
Total scam
I would give even less stars if I could, absolute joke of a service, paid a parking slot through them and still got a PCN by the council saying their permit isn't valid but they are still happy to take your money for a service they can't even provide blaming it on the customer!!
I’m BCP Council Ring Go Parking
Attempted to install and use the App for the first time on Saturday. Along with many other people parking system installed by BCP Council does work and was never tested.
paying for parking I was…
when paying for parking I was redirected to another site exactly like ring go, in the end I paid the scammers and got a ticket, those who issue tickets were not interested in such information and ring go in particular
This company is an absolute scam
This company is an absolute scam.
Trying as we speak to register for the app. Ring Go doesn’t send verification emails or sms codes like it says will.
Their objective is to fine you. It doesn’t want you to pay….
Screen recorded the whole process for proof and will be contacting my local MP
Absolute waste of time
Absolute waste of time. Wouldn't recognise me and told me I have run out of times to re-register. Good job there was a pay machine nearby.
Unreliable app and unfair payment system
This service is terrible. The app doesn’t work – I tried registering and resetting my password but never received any code or email. At Saxon Square, cash is not a real option either: I had to pay £2 because the machine doesn’t give change, even though the fee was only £1.40. This is basically forcing people to overpay if the app fails. Unreliable, unfair, and very frustrating.
