Doesn't work
Absolute piece of shit!!
Absolute piece of shit!!! Registered , password not recognised, error!…. Got to wait… Try again same errors… Nightmare parking in Birmingham. To everyone….. Take a bag of coins FFS!!!
Awful app, awful business
Awful app. If I could give it zero stars I would. The app doesn’t work and always says there is an error when logging in. The website doesn’t the same. Why a business or university would use RingGo is beyond me. Terrible product that doesn’t do what it says it will do. Simply look at the rating and reviews to understand how bad this product is.
Awful app
Awful app. Can't log in, can't reset password and it won't remove my old details to try log in again
RingGo Made a Stressful Situation Even Worse
I was already in a stressful situation and needed to park urgently, but RingGo just made it worse. I didn’t have coins for the machine, so the only way to pay was through the app. I already had RingGo and had used it before, so I thought it would be simple — but I couldn’t sign in. Tried resetting my password over and over, just kept going in circles, and eventually had to give up and find somewhere else to park. Really disappointing when you’re in a rush and completely let down by a company that controls all the parking options.
Don't use them
Don't use them! This is my experience. The machine doesn't work, so you go online to register for the app, which also doesn't work. They then take £66 out of your account, and you still don't get to park. Their customer number tells you to download the app, and your email will not be answered by a person. I'm going to the Ombudsmen.
I have been trying to register/log in
I have been trying to register/log in - everything i do gets rejected or is invalid - why do people in business create barriers to their services? Why do other organisations farm parking out to a a user unfriendly outfit?

Tried using RingGo and spent a delightful few minutes playing “find the car park”. Eventually managed to start a session and was greeted by a cheerful little timer counting down, reassuring me all was well.
Two weeks later, a £100 fine. Apparently, the app decided to pretend it took my payment, a bold UX choice, really. Because who doesn’t enjoy double-checking their bank every time they park, just to make sure the app wasn’t feeling whimsical that day?
If this is what passes for a functioning product at RingGo, I’d suggest they fire the product team, or at least buy them a book on user experience.
Bit of a parking trap app.
Bit of a parking trap app.
Each time I've used this it has let me down, leading to risking a parking ticket.
First time there was no Mobile reception near the meter - yet it was the only means of paying. Second time worked OK , third time it glitched for over 2 hours, had I not anticipated this I would have gotten a ticket - what's the point of this app ?
Really buggy
Really buggy. Tried to delete account and start again, would not work. Took around 20 mins just to pay £3 to park. Dreadful company using their monopoly to excuse any sort of investment in customer service
Awful company why do local authorities usethem
Machines don't take cash so forced to use Ringo Phoning doesn't work forced to down load app now think it's a scam app Awful company local authorities should ditch them .
I couldn’t have orchestrated a worse…
I couldn’t have orchestrated a worse parking experience if I had set out to design one. What a disaster from start to finish! RingGo should never be the only option to pay for parking by card in this day and age. When calling, the system repeatedly misunderstood one letter in my number plate. The promised text message to provide it that way never arrived. The app repeatedly told me I already had an account but failed to allow me to reset the password with various unprofessional error messages. It eventually gave me an option to delete my account which I opted for, but next attempt to access the app gave me all the same errors.
Glitchy App, no customer service
When their app glitched and stopped working on my phone, I found out that there’s no customer support whatsoever. The incompetent numpties in the chat could only suggest turning phone on and off - again and again. Disappointing but rather not surprising after seeing RingGo rating on this site
Update: on third attempt got a working tip from customer support - to uninstall the app. Complying :D
If you can avoid using it
If you can avoid using it, please do it. They don't have customer support. No phone number, noting.
They have live chat where you can speak to both or agent. However, I think even the homan agents are bots or really bad service agents.
They are unhelpful at all.
Can’t even be installed if you are not local
In the UK for six weeks and almost everywhere you need this app to pay for parking. Possibly great if you live here but if not you are out of luck as the App Store knows I’m not local and won’t let me download it. Makes it very frustrating as coins are usually the only option.
The Worst Parking App Experience Imaginable
I honestly don’t know how Ringo is still operating. I tried to sign up for an account, but apparently I already had one. Fine, I tried to reset my password. They wouldn’t send me a code. When a code finally arrived, it was completely incompatible because it contained letters, not numbers. I couldn’t get a code by email either, so I was completely stuck unable to log in, unable to pay for parking.
Then I tried their so-called “automated phone system.” Absolutely useless. I ended up having to speak to a real person just to pay for parking, and even that was painful. And to top it all off, they charged me a 15 pence “convenience fee.” Convenience for who exactly? Certainly not the customer.
This is, without exaggeration, the worst parking service I’ve ever encountered. Clunky, broken, and designed to frustrate you at every step. Avoid it if you value your sanity and time.
A diabolical experience
A diabolical, frustrating experience. Registering kept disallowing entries and then saying I was already registered and then closing entries after too many attempts. They should not be given accounts by city parking authorities. Truly awful and I was pleased to find that they are not related to the Ring security company.
Ring go parking cr app
I went to West Hill car park in Bournemouth now taken over from Ring go car parking. Absolutely rubbish I phoned them and operator sent me a text with wrong reg put a spelling error on the last digit. I tried to call back it was automated. Tried to set up app it said my reg was different couldn't set up app. Chat box was useless and said if my reg was wrong I will be fined. What can I say another rogue Company that's all we need.
AVOID !!
AVOID !!! Do not use their car parks- my experience was I paid my ticket , proof through bank transaction , received a pcr , appealed- 3 yrs later court time £460 as additional costs been put on- luckily I phoned the courts and had to fill online form out to havevthe case re opened- these shoddy companies ( who you can’t speak to in person ) think that the majority will just pay the fines, beware take it further !!
Myringgo is dreadful
Myringgo is dreadful. The other pay parking by phone apps are way better. I’ve had issues every time I’ve used it. Once it wouldn’t accept my c/card and said it was invalid. Then it wouldn’t accept a different debit card. I used it today in Reading and there was no pay machine, just a sign stuck to a lamp post. I phoned the number rather than use the app or website as I’d had so much trouble with them before. The number wasn’t available for use. So I used the website. It wouldn’t accept my password so I had to change it. Then my car had been registered with the wrong car make. This was because it had previously logged the wrong make from voice recognition when I had previously used the myringgo phone number. I had to delete the car and re register the car with the correct make. This made me late for my hospital appointment. I had already allowed an extra 45 mins in case the hospital car park was full which it was so I had to park in the street. If I need to park somewhere and I see MYRINGGO are the providers I think “Oh no not them again”!I’m sure we could all do without this extra stress just to park our cars. What a nitemare! It’s also a really stupid brand name as well. I can only assume that they provide parking facilities for local authorities much cheaper than their competitors. I hope they close down because they are absolutely useless!
