A lot of products out of stock, it's frustrating. But always nice to visit the website to get great make up inspiration.
At MAC Cosmetics, next day delivery does not mean next day delivery.
As a going-away present, I ordered £100 worth of cosmetics from MAC one Tuesday. The urgency was, my friend was leaving on Thursday and I needed the goods by Wednesday. I paid the £6.50 charge for next day delivery.
There was no communication from customer service the following day. Nothing to notify or inform me that my goods would not arrive on Wednesday. It took a call from me at 2pm on Wednesday to find out that my goods were at the warehouse and had not yet been dispatched.
The customer service representative told me the very best she could do was refund me the cost of the next day delivery, and I should wait for the package to arrive under normal delivery times. It took a 25-minute phone call for a full refund to finally be authorized.
It was clear, there was going to be no going-away present for my friend. Completely let down, disappointed, and frustrated with MAC Cosmetics not being able to staff their warehouse well enough to make sure orders go out on time.
I'm glad Amazon don't have this problem!
