We ordered a new front door with Cairnview for our 200 year old cottage. Being an old house the thickness of the walls and the measurements are quite different to a modern building. However, the Cairnview team died a great job.

Michael and Ben removed the old door and fitted the new quickly and without fuss.

My new front door and side screen look great. Ben & Michael did an excellent job, and cleaned up after themselves. I have had other work done by Cairnview (previously Highland Homestyle) over a 20 year period and it is always finished to a very high standard.

Recently had a garage door fitted by HH. I would have given 5 stars except that I had to wait some time before it was fitted as the first door delivered was damaged and had to go back. Otherwise excellent service and the door fitted quickly and efficiently on the day and no mess left to clear up.

We have just had integral blinds fitted to our patio doors, fitters were very nice and worked well together, very happy with the whole process.

They were friendly, professional, did the work quickly and efficiently and even handled last minute small requests with no concerns. They also tidied away any mess leaving me with absolutely no complaints at all - a really excellent service which I cannot fault. The whole process from start to finish was all I could have hoped for, with advice and guidance when I was struggling to choose from the wide range available to pick a door that I would love but which would also suit the look of my house. I left with a very good feeling and my subsequent contacts were similarly very professional. Michael & Ben replaced four windows to my complete satisfaction in double quick time even though I understand two of them were not completely straightforward.

We have just had our windows fitted by Micheal & Ben from Highland Homestyle, I have to say it was a great overall experience. They lads did a fantastic job. Very neat & tidy from the actual fittings to how they left each room they had been in. I work from home & there was next to no disruption, they were so accommodating with what order they did the windows due to meetings etc I had. There is a small scratch in one window, we had a phone call from Bella before we had even noticed it to reassure us a replacement had already been ordered & they would be in touch. Shout out to Sean for an effortless first meeting to size price, etc. All in all, top-class job, thank you all 😊

We had our doors fitted by Michael & Ben last week, really happy with the service. Sean the sales man was very pleasant to deal with to, not pushy at all, very professional service allround.

We placed an order for a new Patio Door firstly because my wife knew the Salesman and he had a very pleasant and non pushy manner. We did say when ordering, we would take a cancellation if a one became available, as our existing door had a broken lock. Sure enough this week I was called at short notice, as they had a cancellation. Michael and Ben arrived within the hour and fitted the new patio door, which we really like. The workmanship was excellent and they cleaned up afterwards. I would happily recommend this company and would certainly use them again.

This is the 2nd time we have used Highland Homestyle. Once again Cheryl and the team have been very helpful and patient, giving us great advise when we were deciding on the style of windows to choose.

This week, we had Highland Homestyle come to replace 12 old wooden-framed windows with new UPVC double-glazed ones. Our windows were about 15 years old, so it was definitely time for an upgrade. This was actually the second time we’ve used Highland Homestyle, and once again, we couldn’t be happier with the result.

A couple of years ago, we were looking to replace a back door that was letting in a draft, and a friend recommended Highland Homestyle. When they came out to have a look, they suggested something we hadn’t even thought of—removing not just the door but the two windows and part of the non-structural wall to replace it all with a large patio window. It completely transformed that area, making the whole house feel warmer and brighter.

We also had them replace two sets of French doors in our living room with glass doors to match the new patio. Again, the quality was fantastic, and it made such a difference to the brightness of our home. So, after two successful projects, we were more than happy to reach out to them again for this window replacement.

This time, we’d noticed a draft in the bedrooms, and some of the windows were starting to show their age. So, we called Highland Homestyle, and someone came out to assess the situation. We talked through our options—should we just replace the bedroom and bathroom windows for now, or do all 12 at once? After weighing it up, we decided to go ahead with all 12 windows. We also debated whether to stick with wooden frames to keep the character or switch to UPVC for their durability. They really took the time to help us make the best decision. We were happy to find out that with the right design, the UPVC would still suit our home’s style, just like the patio and French doors had.

We asked if they could fit the windows during the Easter holidays while we were off work and could take the dogs away, to avoid them getting stressed out by all the noise. Highland Homestyle was so accommodating and fit us into their schedule right at the start of the holidays.

The team arrived promptly at 8 a.m. on the Monday, exactly as agreed, and after a brief chat about the job, we left them to it. Brian and Ivor were the team on Monday and Tuesday, and then Andy joined Ivor on the Wednesday. All three were friendly, polite, and incredibly professional. We had no hesitation in leaving them with our keys while we were away. The job was expected to take 3–4 days, and we were delighted when they phoned us on Tuesday evening to say it would be finished by the end of the next day—well ahead of schedule.

When we returned home on Wednesday, we were absolutely delighted. The new windows looked fantastic, and the whole house felt brighter and more comfortable. The work was done to a really high standard. Just as impressively, the house had been left spotless—you genuinely wouldn’t have known they’d been removing and replacing 12 windows over three days. Their respect for our property was very much appreciated.

I also want to mention their aftercare. The only time we’ve had to contact them after a job was when our French doors were a little sticky on a hot day, and they were round within a couple of hours to sort it. That sort of follow-up service is rare and very welcome. It’s something we’ve also heard echoed by others who’ve used them.

All in all, I can’t recommend Highland Homestyle highly enough. They’re reliable, knowledgeable, and just really easy to deal with. We’ve already talked about asking them back when we’re ready to replace our front door and porch. There’s honestly nowhere else we’d go now. A wonderful business that we’ll use time and time again.
