Haji Baba total mess

I recently ordered quite a bulk of meat. The package arrived with lots of problems.

1. Box was opened as it wasn’t sealed properly

2. Blood was leaking from the box

3. Lots of meat packages were not sealed correctly

4. Quite a lot of the meat was discoloured

5. Mixed lamb on the bone was pretty much just all bone and fat

It took me around 5 emails to get a response and finally they offered a refund on the bones meat package.

Really terrible company and will never use again.

Don’t get swayed by the website as the meat looks nothing like the pictures and will arrive contaminated.

Stay clear and find a decent independent local butcher.

DISGUSTING SERVICE & OUT OF DATE MEAT!

DISGUSTING SERVICE, sent out of date sour smelling meat and wrong meat! I ordered a fillet steak from Haji baba online, it came to a total of £15.98 (order no 17065), I waited 2 days for delivery, when being charged £8 for postage you would expect atleast next day, secondly on arrival I was sent a sirloin steak which was discoloured & illegaly had the date label removed and use by labels removed because they KNEW it had gone off, by LAW you are obliged to put use by and packed on date labels on your items, it can seriously harm and kill someone through food poisoning selling them gone off meat, and it wasn’t the premium fillet steak I ordered for £16 so outraged! First time and last time with you guys, you’re a joke and shambles, customer service guy offered a apology and didn’t even offer to send me the correct item, shambles of a company with poor people manning the customer service side, do not buy from here, you WILL be disappointed, just read all the other 1 star reviews.

Hatfield Asda haji baba…

Went into Hatfield Asda haji baba halal meet store, spent £12.10 for 2 birds of chicken. Firstly they charged me extra for cutting chicken into pieces with out informing me before hand, when asked why there is price difference before and after cutting chicken into pieces that is when they told me there is a charge for cutting into pieces.
I requested them to cut chicken into medium size pieces and when I checked after taking home I was very very disappointed seeing the way it was cut, all the pieces are in random sizes and the fat is not even taken off. Very disappointed with the service and butcher it self was not at all helpful and polite. Never shop with them again.

Terrible rude men that work on these…

Terrible rude men that work on these counters in both Asda beckton and Asda Leytonstone. They don’t have any customer service skills. Don’t want to help, serve anyone. Only ever had bad experiences with these counters. I think Asda should get rid of this company being within their shops.

A shop based in Asda in Barking has been ordered to pay more than £7,000 after selling raw chicken to a customer.
Haji Baba, a halal meat store which rents space in the supermarket but is a separate company, sold the drumsticks in September 2017 but the customer complained after discovering they were still pink in the middle.
Barking and Dagenham Council launched an investigation and took the company to court.
In a hearing at Barkingside Magistrates Court earlier this month, Haji Baba Ltd was found guilty and fined £3,500. It was also ordered to pay costs of £1,804 with a victim surcharge of £120. 
 
Haji Baba Ltd’s manager was also fined £220, ordered to pay costs of £1,804 and a victim surcharge of £30. 
The Council was then awarded costs of £3,608.
Councillor Margaret Mullane, Cabinet Member for Enforcement and Community Safety, said: “Protecting our residents’ health is a key priority for us and food outlets must ensure they provide food that is fit to eat.
“This retailer sold unsafe food that could have caused serious food poisoning and other related health issues. We take this very seriously in Barking and Dagenham and we will always take action against any business that sells unsafe food.”
Asda declined to comment but Time 107.5 understands it is investigating.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever. Received a late order with three of the packages opened. Mince spilled in the box. Box itself was wet with meat leakage.. Ice packs melted. NEVER ORDERING again.

Partial delivery received, getting no reply

Ordered Worth £152.00 in March-20, almost half order received, and rest of order not received till today.
Contacted so many times, do not attend phone, no reply to emails.
very bad customer service, worst ever experience, also the order received, delivery was very poor, ice bags melted.......
will not order again. avoid please

AVOID! Poor Customer Service!

It’s been a week and no reply from their customer service. Ordered nearly £80 worth of meat for the first time last week. Box received was leaking raw meat blood and some items did not get delivered. Ordered two medium whole chicken but received one tiny baby whole chicken instead. Requested a refund multiple times via different channels. No reply. Will no longer order from them. AVOID!!

TOP MAN AHMED HEFNI ASDA…

What a top man AHMED HEFNI ASDA PETERBOROUGH- this young man greets me with the most sincere smile everytime I see him, he knows what I want and does it without me asking and with care he is so polite and courteous. His counter is spotlessy clean and always stocked up, nothing is too much trouble for him, he is always there and works very hard top guy. Keep smiling Ahmed you deserve to be management.

One of the worst experiences

One of the worst experiences.

1. Food of 10 kg was ordered. By the time the meat came it was room temperature and smelling. I called the company and they had no idea what to do.
2. They came back to me after nearly 20 hours and told me they could not pick the meet up until 5 days and asked me to keep the meat in the freezer for 5 days until pick up.
3. I had kept the food in the freezer overnight and my freezer started smelling. They is another issue.
4. I had to go and drop the meet back to the shop myself.

Really poor customer service and food packaging beware..

The most rudest disgusting company that I have ever bought me off I would highly recommend not purchasing meat from this company they are so dirty in their packaging the meat had gone off by the time it had come to me I had already bought me of them before and it was honestly the worst quality meat I've ever bought anyone with a good sense would go over to and purchase meat from healthy halal.

PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!

I have clearly learnt a lesson. Used Haji Baba a few years ago and had a terrible experience like many others on here. Due to covid restrictions etc it was hard trying to get delivery of halal meat in my area and decided to then use them again. HUGE MISTAKE!!! The box the meat was delivered in was soaked as a package of chicken had opened up all over the other meat products. I ordered quite a few meat products, none of which had been labelled so spent a most of my morning trying to figure out and label them myself. Another thing they ask you to instruct them how to cut your meat. Well, they do the exact opposite of what you ask!!!!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! I have tried contacting them and no response of course.

Waited 1week for order to arrive, no reply from customer service after messaging...
And when it did arrive poor quality red meat expensive and was full of fat!...
Will not be ordering again NEVER😡...

Haji Baba Halal meat shop

I have lived in Crawley for a long time. I used to go other local meat shops. However for the last 10 months I have started going to Haji Baba meat shop in Asda Crawley and the service has been really excellent under the supervision of Nazim, he is very friendly and offers amazing customer service. I would really recommend Haji Baba meat shop in Asda Crawley not just because of the amazing customer service but also the hygiene.

Criminals

I wish I could give them a negative review. My experience is just like most of the people here. This company is run by criminals. They take your money and don't refund you if they don't deliver. Even if you call them 100x they don't do anything. Hope this company gets shut down, it's terrible.

Keep away order no.15340

Please read below the final email sent to this fraudulent company. Please note since I have spoken to them they replied from an email address of HR department, lol I was wondering if I have ever applied for a job there 😅.

((I just spoke to you that the order of lamb was booked for qurbani. To my surprise the collection is on 2nd August 2020, which means me and family will have no qurbani on eid. On website during the booking misleading information was provided. I requested you to provide me an in-house complaint procedure, still waiting for it. In addition to this i noticed that there is no reply to my emails. 

I therefore request you to refund me the full amount to my bank accountno.......... you have taken the money from my card so it was not appropriate to ask me to providee you with my account details. 

As I mentioned to you that I will take this matter further to let the people know about this scam. 

Your deceiving information has left me and my family in a vulnerable situation that in this crucial time we can't even order the qurbani from another place. 

You have kept us away from a religious practice, which happens once a year.

You were informed that I will put a review with an order reference number for the general public to view and be aware of this fraudulent company.)))
