Charging even though requested to cancel

Fernish has continued to charge me even though I have asked to either return or buy out the products. I hit retail of the products years ago and no one will respond to me. I have been charged thousands over retail and cannot get anyone to respond. I am going to be filing with my bank and any other form of dispute to get the funds returned.

I have sent them many emails over the past four years with no response. Just recently they responded and said I was in luck I know own the furniture and get to keep it. I am furious!

DELIVERY NEVER ARRIVED AND THERE'S NO SUPPORT

I placed an order on December 19th 2024. The earliest available delivery date was January 6th so I took it. January 6th comes and I have received no communication let alone a delivery! I send an email only for my delivery to be rescheduled for January 10th, again the delivery date comes around, no communication and no delivery. As I am writing this my delivery date has changed once more. I am now in the process of disputing the charge with my bank.

Do not trust this company

I wish I read these reviews before. Please trust these reviews. Do not rent from this company.

EVERY SINGLE MONTH for over a year I have to call them to ask for a refund of a double charge, they still have not updated items I no longer rent on my account and I am continuously paying for them. They do NOTHING to change it or help and only when I actively beg and ask for a refund month after month do I get it.

Awful experience they won't cancel claimed I missed a payment 1.5 years ago! They've charged me cards $12,079.21 for cheap furniture! Their phone number is invalid! No idea what changed at this company

No idea what changed at this company, but their customer support used to be great, and now it is practically nonexistent.

I had a delivery scheduled two weeks ago, and it just never arrived despite me clearing my calendar to be available.

Now, I have been going back-and-forth with customer support for over a month trying to find a delivery date and their customer support is not responding to any of my emails, and will not answer the phone either.

I really thought this was a good company, but it’s clear that I was wrong, and this is the last time I will purchase anything from them.

No way to end contract. Messages go unanswered.

My contract with Fernish expired over a year ago. I was given a buy out price of $0 to own the goods.

Fernish has still been charging me for 9 months. I have tried to contact them several times and there just isn't a way to get a response. I have messages that have been waiting 25 weeks for a reply.

There is no way to cancel the contract via the website. I have removed my payment method and they still keep charging the last card on record.

They are charging me and I get nothing in return at this point. My goods are long paid off.

Do not use this company

They were horrible. They are bunch of shady con men operating as a company. The customer service is abysmal. I was thinking of using them again. Not. I will never use them and I will not recommend them to anyone. Find an alternative because they are not a company with integrity.

Please stay away from this company!!!

Please stay away from this company. I have been trying to get in contact with this company for over 2 weeks via email because I am moving and need them to retrieve their property. They respond in 4-5 day cadences and never resolve the issue. They stated that they would retrieve their property on April 22, however they have not confirmed and followed up with me since April 15, despite so many emails being sent. In addition, they have closed their live-phone systems because they are “understaffed”. If you are understaffed to the point where you can’t respond and resolve an issue over email for almost 3 weeks, you should probably close your business until you do have the bandwidth. Fast forward to today, 8 days until I move and they still have not followed up about retrieving the couch.

Avoid this company

Avoid this company. Poor customer service, non-functional phone number, agents only respond to rental inquiries, delayed response (48+ hours) to issues with rented furniture. All Trustpilot negative reviews were accurate.

Don't rent from this company

Don't rent from this company, they will charge you for items you returned and give you the run around about a "system error" and not answer emails for weeks and when they do, give you generic unhelpful responses.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. There was a glitch on their website that prevented my order from going through. I was notified that someone would reach out to me, which never happened. Their solution was to charge me a $299 rush fee. I spoke to a rep who was unhelpful. I then spoke to the Director of Customer Experience who was condescending and rude. She couldn’t seem to understand the problem. I own a business and needed furniture and because of them I’m now having to scramble. I own several locations and would have used them at all of them if they’d had more integrity and empathy. It’s pretty disappointing that they’d lose not just an order, but a customer who would have used them over and over again over something so easy to fix. In addition to that they lost the opportunity for word of mouth and instead have someone who is actually having to warn others to stay away. Not smart. Not empathetic. No integrity.

They’re a ripoff

They’re a ripoff! The installers hung my canvas art and then it ended up falling off the wall. Now they’re giving me the run around on getting a replacement and even want to charge me again. Don’t rent or purchase with this company. They’re very incompetent and very unprofessional!

Moving back to LA was easy!

When my fiance and I moved back to LA, we were really nervous about filling up our new home with poor quality furniture we would eventually either throw away, or give away. We wanted to create a warm first home, but didn't want to spend our savings on creating it. We found fernish and fell in love with their selection! Better yet, the delivery was so smooth, I didn't have to lift or assemble anything. Such an easy experience- thanks Fernish!

Mixed emotions about this company

Mixed emotions about this company. The first delivery experience went well. The guys were friendly and on time. The furniture is nice but I was disappointed to find that the items were used. They charge as if items are new so that felt a little sleezy. The cost of the rugs I received from them are $900 each. I assumed the rugs were new for that price. They aren’t.. and upon closer inspection I noticed quite a bit of pet hair on one of them which was frustrating as my son has severe allergies to dog and cat dander. I had to have it professionally cleaned.
I had a second delivery of a few small items about a week after the first delivery. It didn’t go well. The delivery driver was rude, arrogant and unprofessional. It left a bad taste in my mouth as far as recommending them to friends and family or for using them again for my own purposes.
I was also very upset about being charged a $25 late fee when my payment was a day late. (Direct deposit was late due to bank holiday) $25 for a late fee is extremely excessive, especially considering their products are highly overpriced to begin with.
Overall, I’m not really impressed and probably won’t hold on to the furniture long.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I should have cancelled my order on the first day when they were sold out of a couch that I wanted. The bed broke on the first day, as did the couch. They replaced the bed, which then proceeded to ruin my $1500 mattress (the lack of support caused the springs to be uneven). It was very typical wear and tear, and they said I owed them $800+ for couch repair and cleaning. In what world, I do not know. As a property manager I know that industrial furniture cleaning isn't more than $79, and I could have repaired the couch (again, that broke due to poor quality) for less than $100. They claim they do not charge for normal wear and tear, but that is a lie. They will take the entire cost of the furniture in rental fees, and then charge you for it again, unless you return it in "like new condition". I suppose the furniture isn't actually intended to be used at all. I should have went with Cort or Aarons for furniture again, but unfortunately, I got caught up in Fernish "trendiness" and that I do and will continue to regret. They won't make it right or be reasonable.
