Over a year with esalon but no longer
I’ve been using eSalon for over a year. I was quite happy with their semipermanent formula and delivery. Then this year: 1) delivery times were the date of expected shipment + 21 days - incredibly annoying as once they put my address wrong and a second time the package was returned to sender without ever reaching my door, 2) their permanent color burnt my scalp from minute one - ammonia was used in the formulation without consultation or even letting you know there would be ammonia, and 3) they never got my desired color despite providing pictures of my hair, pictures of the desired color and whatnot. I guess it’s ok if you don’t really care what color you get and you don’t want to cover greys.

I rang E Salons.ie after 4 yrars.Updated my profile and spoke with the specialist in colour dept.Very helpful.I got my dye 8 days later and i love it.I would recommend to anyone that uses box hair dye at home.You will have that Salon look without spending money you cant afford.

ESalon is a great concept in theory, but falls short.
If you're reading this from Ireland, the shipping takes 12 days to arrive from the day your order is dispatched.
I had to tweak my colour as it wasn't covering greys (which I dont mind, and almost expect this when trying a new colour). But it took weeks to sort out & get adjusted. Customer service take days to reply, and eventually when your colour is reformulated it takes weeks to arrive.
Im cancelling my subscription. I wish the company would sort out the logistics end of things, because it could be great if they tightened up their customer service & lead time on getting colour to customers.

Horrible customer service
I ordered and my first order was delayed and the communion with the company was not very good. I thought I would give them a second chance and it got worse. My package never arrived after 3 weeks and post.nl said I need to contact the sender. I received a refund for everything except the shipping, 6 euros, when I asked them to contact post.nl for a refund, they said no, they sent it and are further not responsible if it arrives or not. Horrible customer service do now I have paid shipping for nothing.

Whereas the product in itself is great…
Whereas the product in itself is great and the service and support I got at the start was positive, I have experienced that 1) the dye does not cover greys as well as it should and 2) I have reached out 3 times after my last application, to request tweaking so I can get better coverage and I have not yet received any reply.
