The communication was excellent. Multiple people texted from different times in the process. Very helpful and let me know exactly what to expect. Fairly easy process. Car got delivered last night. :)

Michaela & her manager have been an a true pleasure and dream to work with. They were so patient and supportive while I worked out my plans, and despite my new home buying and beginning full time work just coming out of grad school - they still upon being connected to the same people for a second time were just as kind, and helped me secure the exact car I had been hoping to find, and made it possible much sooner than I had expected- surpassing my expectations in all the best ways. Couldn’t have had a better experience with employees from a company where we mostly communicate only through text and email - that was not felt in the experience, very professional and personable.

Updated review of driveway, it wouldn’t let me update my review so I’ll do another. Marco was great and extremely helpful throughout the purchasing experience, Jodi was also great and same with Darren. Vehicle arrived quickly, in perfect condition, the entire process was longer than a traditional in person purchase. That’s to be expected with email/ phone correspondence. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another vehicle if I needed one through driveway. Great experience.

I went through the whole process. Got a quote, took pictures of my lease. I even mentioned it was leased by so and so company. They told me they would mail me paperwork so we can start the buyout process. Then a week later I was informed that they do not buy from third party companies aka my leasing company. This information should have been brought to my attention beforehand. When I asked driveway if they could reach out to my leasing representative to clarify things they refused to. I was playing the middleman in this situation. This was a waste of my time, a lengthy back and forth process and a headache.

This has been the easiest, most stress free way to sell a car! Everyone along the way, from Bonnie to Tyler, as well as the valet, were courteous, kind and answered every question. My driveway purchase has been great so far, the customer service was on top and paperwork was also easy, now I’m just waiting on my DMV paperwork that’s in the works. There was no pressure like other physical dealerships and everyone helped in every step possible with any questions I Had.

Awesome company to work with! I submitted an inquiry on a Saturday night, and the ball was rolling the following day (Sunday morning). Prompt service, and I highly recommend Broderick - a spectacular associate who is knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely informational! Most of all, his service is prompt and efficient! I would recommend to everyone, especially to have Broderick as the point-of-contact.

My favorite part is the amount of inventory Driveway has to choose from and pricing was good. My Customer service/sales rep Ryan Turner was great! Very professional and friendly! They also gave me a good trade in price for my vehicle. Only small issue is that it takes a little more time to get the car but on the upside you don't have to go to the dealership to sign everything it's all electronic signatures from your home.

He always got back to me when I had questions and never left me hanging.
The vehicle I purchased came from Florida and was delivered to Rhode Island in time for my daughter’s wedding which was huge for me. From start to finish the entire process took thirteen days. From the time I started chatting with Patrick until the vehicle was delivered to my doorstep.
I’m very pleased with the vehicle and even more so with Patrick. I can’t say enough good things about him.

First off, how can this company have a rating of 4.2 out of 5 on trustpilot, but a review rating of 1.17 out of 5 at the better business bureau? I would suppose that says something more about trustpilot, but I'm here to tell you about driveway.com.
For three days they had me hanging on my computer minute by minute waiting for the next task that I needed to complete and immediately turning it around and completing it for them when, all of it could have been done at an actual dealership, all at once in less than 3 hours.
But I had found my perfect car and I wanted what I wanted and after they got all the hoops they wanted me to jump through spread out over those days they took my credit card number and charged me $500 for the deposit. Then they called me back 6 hours later and said the car had been sold the night before. Supposedly all these dealerships that they work with are part of the parent company Lithia - but in any event they should have their act together enough to be able to 100% ensure, come hell or high water, no deposit is taken for a car that is already sold and once the deposit is taken that car should have an unbreakable hold on it in that customer's name until either that customer's hands are wrapped around those keys or the sell falls through. I was mad enough about the $500 being taken, which can and will be refunded but that 3 days worth of my time jumping through hoops I can never get back.
But THEN, they offered to sell me another car of the same make and model with a different trim level and other wildly different specs and THAT, boys and girls, is a textbook violation of bait and switch laws on the books in every state in the union. In California it's both a civil and a criminal violation.
So because they had all my hoops already jumped through and there was nothing more required of me than just to say yes to their switch, I said yes. Just to see how much worse it could get before I had to ink anything.
They responded back saying the car this time was secured and that someone will be contacting me within 72 hours to sign the paperwork. 72 hours. really? You've got a customer saying yes and you don't have someone there with a pen and a contract immediately? I was also informed at that point in time that a few days after I finished signing all the paperwork someone else would contact me to set up a delivery date which is usually in 14 days. So that's a few days plus 14 more, AFTER they're able to manage to get a contract drawn up and to me. Carvana can get a car across the country in 4 days, but whatever. And by "whatever," I mean.. the one I wanted was only 50 miles and about an hour and a half drive away from me. And for the privilege of having them provide me such leisurely anticipation I was expected to pay $850 transportation costs.
Three days came and went. 4 days came and went and I sent them an email following up which wasn't responded to 5 days came and went. Nothing. Still, they could find no one in the kingdom to come and take my money and my signature. Or for that matter, respond to my texts or my phone calls, or my emails.. but of course, they still have my $500 deposit. Thank god I charged it to my american express because that's a company that knows customer service. I had no problems getting the money back after disputing the charge through them. After that, I drove over to the dealership and bought the car directly from them which took a grand total of five and a half hours.
Their whole deal is supposed to be the ease of no negotiation coupled with the satisfaction of instant gratification. But what they deliver is deception, delay, and disorganization.
