I’m feeling very divided about this review…

I’m feeling very divided about this review as I had horrible experience with the booker and pricing and a 5/5 experience with the moving team. I don’t think the movers should be punished with a bad review, as it seems like they are hired as contractors for CPH Flyt and in my case did an excellent job. However, the experience with CPH Flyt was horrible and unacceptable, which forces me to give a 2/5 review and making me want to say you should choose another moving company. Explanation:

Booking team 0/5 - tried to get away with a very low estimation that ended up costing double as much as I was told and in the process blaming me, the customer, for having too much stuff. Unprofessional and seemingly a ruthless tactic to book customers. Shameful behaviour.

As many have described, the estimated offer given to customers is systematically aimed way too low, which resulted in a shock when I was told I needed to pay 14.000 kr instead of 7-8 as estimated by their booker.
As a result, as many others describe, I ended up being told that it was my fault I had way too much stuff, which is unprofessional to state to a customer and factually wrong, because the booker herself estimated the amount of stuff I had for me and based it on her own experience. When we had to coordinate the second moving day, she again blamed me out of nowhere with having too much stuff in such a rude and judgmental matter. The booking team was a 0/5 experience.
I firmly declined paying the full amount which was only fair and they gave in to it because they obviously knew it was their fault.

Moving team 5/5 - On the other hand, the moving teams on both day 1 and 2 (we had it storaged for a month at their storage) were super friendly and moving stuff at a decent pace. They were a 5/5 experience.

Fast and efficient team

We used CPH Flyt for our move, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! The A-Team helped us and was incredibly professional, efficient, and friendly throughout the entire process.

From the moment they arrived, everything was handled with care and precision. They worked quickly without ever compromising on the quality of the move, and made what could have been a stressful day feel completely smooth and under control.
Would definitely recommend them.

CPH Flyt – Completely Unacceptable

CPH Flyt – Completely Unacceptable

We had a very unpleasant experience with CPH Flyt during our move on March 28, 2025, and we feel compelled to share it here, as we have received neither a response nor any proper follow-up – despite having submitted a formal written complaint directly to the company.

Problems began already on the day of the move. We had paid the agreed deposit of 4,197 DKK for three hours of moving service, but ended up with an additional bill of 3,596 DKK – partly due to two heavy-lift charges and extra working hours. More than an hour of this extra time was spent with the movers sitting in our apartment waiting for the green light to disassemble furniture – while eating their food. This break was still included in our final bill, which we find completely unreasonable. The same applies to a dinner break in the new apartment, which we even paid for ourselves.
Although the move was completed around 7 PM, the break time was still billed as working hours.

Communication was completely unacceptable – for instance, the movers didn’t know they were supposed to move items up to the 5th floor, and one of them even suggested we could end up paying up to 8,000 DKK more, which caused a lot of unnecessary stress during an already tense situation.

To make matters worse, a staff member named Sandra asked Nadia on the phone whether she was of Arab descent – because “maybe it would be easier if she could speak Arabic with the movers.” This is absolutely inappropriate and over the line. It is not the customer’s responsibility to facilitate internal communication. That comment was both unprofessional and discriminatory.

Additionally, damage was done to the ceiling during the move, and a drum – which we carried ourselves – went missing on the day and hasn’t been found since. We submitted a detailed complaint via email, and received only a brief reply saying the case would be reviewed. Since then, we’ve heard nothing – no follow-up, no apology, no accountability.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend CPH Flyt and feel both deceived and poorly treated.

Professional transport

I had a good collaboration with the moving company. The customer service explained all the details very well and this helped me in my decisions. The guys with the transport were prompt and worked professionally. All my things were intact and well placed at the new address. Everything went very well and the guys moved quickly. I am very satisfied with their service and I highly recommend them.

Do you want to have a stressful move? Go with them

Do you want to have a stressful move? Then go for CPH Flyt, you will have the best possible experience.

1. They will tell you that they don’t accept pictures for an inventory (and they don’t send anyone to check anything), but when you report a damage during the move, they will say that since there were no pictures from the pre-move, you cannot complain. Yes, you will hear how certain things fall to the ground, break, but you don’t get anything in return. Completely fair, right?

2. You might ask for 3 people to make it easier, and add the handyman service so everything is taken care of. It will not be easy, but it’s okay, we are all human.

3. Related to the previous one, it seems that you need to get EVERYTHING out from the boxes before they leave the apartment so you can file a complaint if something is broken. However, you will find with the nice surprise that they are in such a rush to leave that the “manager” will leave the apartment and wait for you outside next to the van to make the payment. Therefore, you won’t have the time to do literally anything or complain. Who needs to complain when everything is great?

4. If you don’t like punctuality, these are your people. At 17.55 they will tell you that they have a training session in half an hour and they need to leave, leaving you with some stuff not properly handled or maybe not assembled, even though you paid for the handyman service. Yeah, they called the day after to meet and do it and charged only half of the service but… no thank you. Will do it on our own.

5. You will not get an invoice, even though they tell you that you will receive a SMS with it. Interesting.

6. We asked for an estimation for the move so we could compare with other moving companies. They of course didn’t meet the (cheap) estimation and we ended up paying almost the same as professional companies with proper insurances, visit to the old apartment to estimate time, preparation of boxes, etc., which was such a beautiful pain.

7. If you “rent” their boxes, they will come for them at a later stage. All good here. Maybe you agree on a date but they won’t come, making you lose a work-from-home day or day off for nothing. They will say that well, there was an issue with the route, but you are still swamped with boxes for more than two weeks.

Fast and smooth move

Team Viktor from cphflyt did a great job, the move was smooth and much faster than anticipated. Only slight issue was that someone walked in part of our house that wasn’t covered after oiling floors, but it’s not quite worth detracting a whole star

Super move with CPH Flyt!

We are very happy about our move with CPH Flyt on 06.12.2023!

Starting with the friendly and fast communication with Cornelius and Sandra, to the delivery of the moving boxes by Mark and Szabi and the move also with Mark, Szabi and Jimmy. The three of them knew what they were doing and managed the move, approx. 7 km, 2 journeys from a 100 square metre flat to a terraced house. All three were in a very good mood, worked hard and were very conscientious. Thanks to our preparation when packing and their strength and experience, we completed the move in just under 6 hours. The arrangement and collection of the removal boxes also went smoothly.

My husband and I highly recommend CPH Flyt and enjoyed the 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 experience and thank everyone involved for a great move!

They broke my TV, table & dresser!

They broke my TV, table & dresser.

I had the most horrible experience CPHFLYT!

They BROKE my TV, table & dresser.

They broke my table (Boconcept Milano that costs now 35000 DKK). The surface is rock, so they dropped it from height to make a crack on the side.
They broke my TV (LG costs 10000DKK today). 1 moving man was carrying t on his shoulder SCREEN down!
They broke my dresser (Boconcept kommode worth around 8-10000DKK).They so were violent in trying to get shelves out so they bended the rails, and the shelves slide out.

They claim that they will be careful (they were like cavemen), that they have all equipment to carry and handle heavy staff (had nothing but blankets), and that insurance is included.

INSURANCE: I think they might have none. I found out that tv is broken only in the evening, when I turned it on. But they don’t even want to consider any compensation as I had to tell them that it’s broken before they left.
On the other staff I wrote them email with description as asked, but they just went idle.

AND! They asked me when we were in the apartment - if I was alone and if I had someone (meaning a man). It was highly inappropriate and uncomfortable.

We moved from the storage >> apartment (old) >> apartment new. And there are recordings in all 3 places that show their “behaviour”.

It’s outrageous, don’t use them, there are plenty of others.
Make sure you check everything while movers are on a spot and take pictures of the most valuable staff before movers start working.

If I could give them 0 or -5 stars, I would do that!
