CPH Flyt – Completely Unacceptable
We had a very unpleasant experience with CPH Flyt during our move on March 28, 2025, and we feel compelled to share it here, as we have received neither a response nor any proper follow-up – despite having submitted a formal written complaint directly to the company.
Problems began already on the day of the move. We had paid the agreed deposit of 4,197 DKK for three hours of moving service, but ended up with an additional bill of 3,596 DKK – partly due to two heavy-lift charges and extra working hours. More than an hour of this extra time was spent with the movers sitting in our apartment waiting for the green light to disassemble furniture – while eating their food. This break was still included in our final bill, which we find completely unreasonable. The same applies to a dinner break in the new apartment, which we even paid for ourselves.
Although the move was completed around 7 PM, the break time was still billed as working hours.
Communication was completely unacceptable – for instance, the movers didn’t know they were supposed to move items up to the 5th floor, and one of them even suggested we could end up paying up to 8,000 DKK more, which caused a lot of unnecessary stress during an already tense situation.
To make matters worse, a staff member named Sandra asked Nadia on the phone whether she was of Arab descent – because “maybe it would be easier if she could speak Arabic with the movers.” This is absolutely inappropriate and over the line. It is not the customer’s responsibility to facilitate internal communication. That comment was both unprofessional and discriminatory.
Additionally, damage was done to the ceiling during the move, and a drum – which we carried ourselves – went missing on the day and hasn’t been found since. We submitted a detailed complaint via email, and received only a brief reply saying the case would be reviewed. Since then, we’ve heard nothing – no follow-up, no apology, no accountability.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend CPH Flyt and feel both deceived and poorly treated.
