The Warranty is not fit for purpose, failed to replace parts opting for cheap repair rather than replacing part due to costs, same fault repaired twice likely to reoccur and refused to accept repair for other parts as advised by the dealer.
Experienced a living nightmare in cahoots with the dealer.

Unfair and Disappointing Policy — No Refund or Transfer Allowed
I held a Club SmartGuard Cosmetic and Club SmartGuard Alloy policy with Car Care Plan Limited for my car. During the three-year term, I never made a single claim. However, partway through, I sold my car and purchased a new one.
To my shock, I was denied any pro-rata refund for the unused portion of my policy and told I could not transfer it to my new car — all because the 14-day cooling-off period had passed. This policy feels extremely unfair and almost like theft, taking money for a service I could no longer use.
I expected flexibility or at least a reasonable solution, especially since no claims were made. Instead, I was met with rigid refusal and zero assistance. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Car Care Plan. Customers deserve fair treatment, transparency, and policies that do not penalize responsible, claim-free users.

I curbed my alloys and the team booked me in for an appointment within 7 days. Workmanship was great! Well worth it!
Great service, well worth the money
Purchased paintwork and alloy wheel cover when buying the car.
Used the alloy wheel cover a couple of times and the dent repair once over the last 18 months. Basically it's paid for itself at this point. Repairs carried out promptly and conveniently at home and to an excellent standard.
Arrived promptly
Arrived promptly, polite, respectful and did a great job. Everything looks brand new.
Poor warranty handling, delays and no courtesy car
I purchased a used Audi A7 with a warranty through Sytner / Car Care Plan. When the gearbox failed 5 months after, the experience was extremely poor:
• I was left without my vehicle for six weeks.
• The claim was initially declined for the wrong reason, then overturned only after I repeatedly chased.
• Contradictory excuses: Sytner said the courtesy car was Care Plan’s responsibility, while Care Plan said it was Sytner’s. Result: no courtesy car at all, despite the warranty promising this benefit.
• Poor communication: I had to call and email almost daily, with little proactive contact from either company.
• Financial loss: I continued paying finance while the car was unusable and suffered extra costs that neither company has covered.
Both companies admitted failings but offered only a token gesture, far short of my actual losses. My case is now with The Motor Ombudsman.
I would strongly caution others to check how warranty promises are actually honoured — my experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and very costly.

I’ve been really impressed with Car Care Plan. They are everything you’d hope a warranty company to be – clear, professional, and genuinely helpful. When I recently had an issue with my car, they were ready and willing to cover the repair straight away. The only hold-up came from the main dealer, not Car Care Plan, and throughout the process the team kept me informed and reassured.
It’s refreshing to deal with a company that honours their commitments and puts the customer first. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for reliable third-party cover and peace of mind.

Done quicker than originally advised!
The repairer phoned out of the blue and came round half an hour later and did an excellent job and he was nice and friendly. I would have given a five star review but due to the initial length I was told, but still much quicker than originally told.
