Went into Cotton Traders in Hornsea looking for a pair of shoes. Sale was on and found the right shoes but in wrong size. The manager could not have been more helpful. He looked on the computer and found another Cotton Traders store where the shoes were in stock and ordered them to Hornsea, with us covering postage. He then called me to let me know the shoes had arrived to collect. A polite, friendly and helpful gentleman where nothing was too much trouble to ensure customer satisfaction. Honest good old fashioned service which is sadly lacking in a lot of places these days.

Decided to try Dermatica products after reading about medical grade skincare and additional care available for older skin. I’m a 60’s child and wasn’t fastidious about sun cream. although had a good skincare routine using high street products for years. Wasn’t sure what to expect and decided to trial for 6 months.

Avoid at all costs. If I could give zero star rating, I would. Impossible to speak to anyone to cancel contract, which then auto-renewed and now threatened with debt collection agents. Shame Jimdo weren’t so invested in keeping in touch with me when I needed their input to cancel my “commitment”. Absolute shower.

The process of adopting Max, our two year old SBT was seamless and smooth, despite being between lockdowns and difficulties presented by Covid situation.

We saw him on the Manchester site late on day one and by day two had been contacted and received further more in depth information about known history. Just prior to Christmas 2020 we visited and encountered a warm welcome and helpful, knowledgeable staff from initial meeting to being introduced to Max by his handlers and subsequent follow-up meetings.

Nothing was hidden or overlooked by Dogs Trust in ensuring we were good prospective adopters for a young dog who had clearly experienced turbulence and trauma.

It should be noted that Dogs Trust offer ongoing support for the life of the animal, which extends to helpful information on a wide range of topics to download and access to behavioural therapists.

18 weeks post adoption, a healthy, happy Max is relaxing in his favourite sunny spot. He still has his troubles and by no means is completely free of poor habits, yet he’s a loving and loyal dog and a pleasure to know and love. With patience and passage of time, he will bloom further and grow into the dog he is easily capable of being.

So, special thanks to Charlotte, Cameron and Alexia for starting a rehabilitation process we are honoured to continue to see our lovely little boy reach his fullest potential to live his life in freedom and peace.
