Transmission issue

Buy at your own RISK! I purchased a Korean built C/V trans. for a 2016 Nissan Rogue. I provided him the vin for the vehicle. Seller substituted a Japan built trans. for my Korean built vehicle. I informed seller of mix up before install, but Corey assured me that the trans. was interchangeable. So we installed the trans and programmed the car but it would not move. Per Nissan dealer, they informed me the transmissions are NOT interchangeable. I installed a rebuilt Nissan trans. works great. Yes they issued refund for trans. but I am out $2000 for labor and programming for there substitution of first transmission. Not impressed!!!

I was able to get the front fender I needed shipped to Besslers Massillon location for local pickup. The fender was as advertised. I'm happy with the whole experience.

Great customer service. 2005 extra cab rear doors.

I ordered a truck door for pick-up in Massilon from the website with help from a Bessler employee using the wesite txt app. Bessler sent me a txt when the door arrived. When I went to pick up the door I found I had ordered the wrong side. The Bessler counter person said no problem we can refund the payment and order the correct door.
After looking at the great condition of the first door I decided to keep it and thankfully the door side I
originally wanted to purchase was on the property. Even though it was close to closing time they pulled the door from the warehouse.
I left Bessler with 2 rear doors for a 2005 GMC 2500 extra-cab for a great price.
I was very happy with the attitude and assistance of the parts counter and shipping dock personnel.
I drove 2 hours to pick up the doors and would make the trip again to pick-up parts.

Crappy on the phone / website support. Good in person. Make it make sense. Have a “text us” on website. Then you get a text back and it’s just a link to their website. Texted first I need this part # is it avalible it’s on your website . I get a link to the parts pages again lol! So i ask so your website is up to date? “ye” . I call to see if it’s available because their text support sure wasn’t convincing. Speaking I have to float 150$ on my credit card before I even see the item. They say yes this part is available. I buy it instantly … 3 days later I get a call saying it’s not available and would I like to buy something else from them or issue a refund which WHO KNOWS how long will take to get back to my bank. Took 7 days . Outdated website and crap support. Didn’t even care to leave this review but since you guys have emailed me 5 times in 10 days asking for a review here it is lol! 🙌🏻

Bessler Auto Parts staff was friendly and courteous. The prices are great just be patient and you won’t be anything but happy. The part I got from them was in great shape and saved me $300 buying a used part from them.

Bessler's stated "Core Values": from a small business owner/operator

Never written one of these, but never been treated quite like I was yesterday either. Likely wouldn't have written this if I had not stumbled onto the ABOUT and OUR CULTURE pages of the Bessler website.
Small business owner/operator here: Like millions of others I purchase from, sell to, and interact w/countless others who, like Bessler, make reassuring statements and/or list their Core Values on their websites. And from my experience, most all uphold them when routine operations go routinely. But it's when adversity arises, when mistakes are made that you see if that company walks their talk; if they're the type of business you want to give your money to?
My experience w/Bessler on 2-16 & 2-17-23:
-Learned of Bessler via Car-part.com where they list 8-10 rear axle assemblies that I was looking for.
-2/16 Called, spoke to salesman C who asked multiple questions ensuring he knew exactly what part I needed. He stated they had multiple candidates at WIlder. He quoted me a fair price and I stated that I would make the purchase if I was able to speak to someone on site that could confirm they had the assembly "in-stock". He assured me that he would not only verbally confirm but that he would send an email to make sure there was no miscommunication. I then expressed to him the importance of this and explained that I had literally just returned from a 3hr trip to a salvage yard in SE Ohio that claimed to have the part when in actuality they did not. I then told him that the Wilder location was 184 mi from my garage and I would be asking someone to take a day off and take me to get the axle assembly. He again said he would make sure it was there, that I need not worry. I made payment in full at 1:47pm Thurs. 2/16 and informed that I would pick up the next day(Fri) 12-1pm. C stated that would be no problem and that he would email my receipt. **Overall was polite and seemed knowledgeable
=2/17 8am Check email= no receipt. Call, spoke with a different salesman C2 who stated C was not working but he could email my receipt, he did so promptly. **Very polite, immediate email
1230pm Arrive Wilder location walk in state purpose, was instructed to back up to garage door and axle assembly would be loaded asap. Assembly was brought by fork lift a few minutes later. Upon first glance I knew it was wrong axle. Went inside and they had loaded the wrong axle. Was told they would fix the mistake asap. They removed the incorrect axle with forklift.

- After about 15min an employee came out and asked if I would come inside so she could ask me a few questions. Inside she informed me that the Wilder location had NONE of the SIX (6) axles that were listed on car-part.com. She explained that she was awaiting a call from Massillon to know if they had any of the axle assemblies they were showing. Approx 10min later she came out and informed me that Massillon did not have one either. She asked me to call manager M stating he would be resolving the issue.
****ALL OF THESE PHONE CONVERSATIONS TOOK PLACE ON SPEAKER PHONE WITH MY FATHER AS LISTENING WITNESS
2:16pm I called M, got vmail left vmail
2:24pm called M again, vmail
2:26pm Employee comes out and asks me to call manager A for resolve. Call manager A, got vmail, left vmail
2:33 Manager A calls back. He states his name, asks what he can do for me? I explain situation and he says something like "yeahhh, that's because they don't have that axle at the Wilder location"
**At this point it required all my learned professionalism to maintain calm**
I asked A his position within the company, he replied "I'm the sales guru". My father and I looked at each other in complete and total disbelief. I asked if the position of "guru" was similar to a General Sales Manager, he said yes. I then asked who his General Manager was, he replied "what for" I clarified my question asking "what is your boss's name?" I repeated the question THREE (3) more time to get a name? I asked there was another salvage yard they might trade with to get the axle I paid for? He began asking for my VIN#, which I did not have. He then began chastising me repeatedly for not having my VIN# available. This was absolutely unacceptable. My VIN# is completely irrelevant to this transaction. He then stated to me "I guess that's the deal then" I asked what deal he was speaking about and he said "the deal for you.....to refund your money". He then started rambling on about a credit card could take x # of days and a debit may be x days. I interrupted to inform him I have used them for 20yrs and am aware of the possible delays. I informed him that I wanted immediate proof the refund process had started. He stated he would email me said proof and I hung up the phone. 22hrs later=no email proof
*on-site Wilder employees did nothing wrong

How customer service should be

Although we received the part and it was cracked Billy refunded us our money but is still on the lookout for the part we need. Will definitely continue to do business with a company that honors their commitments!!

Employees i worked with (on phone and in person) were great. Part I received had a few more scratches than the price warranted (shoud have been $50 less).
