No transparency for testers about their rating
I've been using UserCrowd as a tester for several years. I have sent them this feedback that I will write down here 6 months ago and all I got was a response appreciating the feedback and that they will look into it. Six months later, still no sign of any improvement on their site regarding my feedback. So I decided to make the feedback more public with a rating for them!
As a tester, we get rated for each test and there is a cumulative rating of testers out of 5 stars. But there is no transparency for the tester to see which tests they got rated low, and why. In fact, you don't even know if you have been rated low for a test unless you see a change in your overall score. If you are doing hundreds of tests, you simply cannot figure out which test rated you low and why! Other platforms don't have this issue. Cloud Connect, usertesting.com and many other platforms show you clearly which tests rated you low and why. That way you can improve yourself, or appeal it if you disagree. Besides, those platforms also calculate your rating such that if you get positive ratings more and more, your negative ratings are dropped. Whereas with usercrowd, it stays! Because of these reasons, I think UserCrowd is a mediocre platform compared to its competitors.
They banned me after earning 7.50 euro
They let me do 15 tests and when I almost reached the payable amount they told me I failed their starters test and they didn't approve my account.
" Your account has not been approved
Unfortunately, your practice test response didn't meet our response quality standards so your account has not been approved and is not eligible for real tests".
I asked them to redo the test and
they said the following:
"Unfortunately, we cannot reopen your practice test for you to improve your response. Once a practice test is rejected, there are no second chances to retake the same test, and this policy ensures fairness for all participants.
Since your practice test was not approved, your responses were deemed ineligible, which means you won't be able to participate on our platform. You don't need to register again, but please note that creating multiple accounts is against our terms and will result in all duplicate accounts being banned."
Its a safe side hustle, but the rewards are low
Over 4 years I have undertaken more than 600 surveys/tasks with UserCrowd and earned just over $500. Sometimes they can be slow payers, but I've never been short changed or told my responses were unsuitable for payment. Its a safe side hustle, but the rewards are low with many tasks earning just $0.40. Minimum cash out is $10 so don't expect to get rich quick!
I think it's great !!
I think it's great, I have earnt a few amount for quick easy tests I have done 19 and already earn over $16+ I think I cashed out $11 via PayPal took a week or 2 but it is all legit and a great site to earn a few extra bucks for a few minutes of your time.
Only Positive Things To Say
Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. I have been a member of UserCrowd for months now and I have to say, I do not have anything negative to say. The main purpose of the site is to contribute, and the end result is to collect. You participate, and you get paid. Some tasks might be smaller than others and some of the payouts be smaller too, but it is money that you didn't have before, and the payout process is quick and easy; only positive things to say.
UserCrowd is a great way to make extra cash
I get asked to take part in studies every week. Its easy and straight forward. The amounts add up quickly. I love seeing the different brands that I'm giving feedback to.
Dont wait to take the test.
If you dont take the test your given quickly you get paid. $10 min cashout and the you have to wait 30 days for it. What a joke. Most of tests are only .$20 cents to a $1.00 dollar but you have a chance every so offen to make more. Only if you have the answers that they want. If you dont fell like waiting for 30 days for your money, and dont mind super small paying tasks. Then this is your passive income is for you.
Fraudulent Research Panel looking for any excuse in the book not to pay you
I wish there was something worse than a 1 star rating to describe how fraudulent this platform is. After completing almost 1000 tests, I was banned for "misrepresenting my location with the use of a VPN" which was very absurd because I don't use any. I requested a payout of $22 which took almost two weeks and did tests worth almost $15 during the waiting period just to see a review failed on my account. I contacted support and Chris Henderson told me I had been banned. Never for once did my tester rating drop when they used the 100 scale and the 5 star scale. Warning anyone who can see this about the absolute garbage the research panel has become. Absolute waste of time and effort!
Waste of time in this platform
Waste of time in this platform, I'm an existing user and I'm stuck in a place where I can't verify my Phone Number, it does not provide service at best, so no need to come to such platform, I feel very disappointed from past two years
How to use it
The email is not resending to me and it did not sign up

I did 7 test, it took hours. And then at the time of pay, they are giving silly reason of “answers of practice test doesn’t stand up with our standards”, lol.
So they should have told us before. But when asked for payment. They gave me silly reasons. They cant pay 10$, lol.
Also, when you hit 10$, they will stop sending you tests.

Dishonest Company
They pay pennies for your time, and then will look for any excuse to ban you after performing thousands of highly rated tests for them. UserCrowd is a terrible and dishonest site, and I am actively dissuading other companies and testers from using them. Horrible
The site is very easy to use
The site is very easy to use however, they take absolutely FOREVER to pay you, not acceptable.
Tests no longer work in Chrome
I enjoy taking part in the micro tasks but recently most of the tests have stopped working on Chrome but just the ones on my Windows 11 laptop. Out of my last 8 tests only 6 worked. I was told to try Firefox by their tech support but I don't know anyone who uses them any more due to security concerns. Considering they test for other people, Usercrowd need to fix this as it's getting to the point where trying their tests is a complete waste of time. I have been hovering over the fninishing line for a payout for the past 8 tests but will never make it when none of them work.
Disciminatory and accusatory
Be aware that if you're at any disadvantage, UserCrowd will take advantage to not pay you for your time. And will speak rudely without any consideration for their particpants.
After being a frequent user tester on the platform, I noticed my score dropped because I was misspelling. I also had one response flagged due to using a swear word, despite the ad asking for feedback about using that word. I'd spent 35mins responding to the test to receive $7. At the end I was told my response was invalid due to language and would not receive my compensation.
After reporting that I felt there is a issue here, I was told that it was against their guidelines to swear (despite the ad asking for feedback on a swear word) and that I was flagged for using AI responses. This was because I was copying into the text box. After speaking with someone named Parker, explaining that I was typing into my notes app to ensure my spelling was correct, and that there wasn't any support for people who struggle with spelling, I was told that's a shame and don't do it again.
For a company whose platform is all about user experience, it’s clear that they couldn’t give a flying about theirs.
I am writing to warn others about Scam site Usercrowd.com
I am writing to warn others about a fraudulent website called Usercrowd.com. My experience with this platform has been frustrating.
I urge others to be cautious of Usercrowd.com. This is a clear scam designed to exploit people and their valuable time. Please do not fall victim to their deceptive tactics.
They mention you can get a payout after reaching $10. The tasks were tedious and low-paying, and the payout system was extremely unreliable. Their pay for studies is too little eg. $0.20 per study. You have to wait for One year to reach a minimum $10 payout.
After you reached $10 and requested for payout they simply rejected your payout telling you a silly reason your user rating is low.
I strongly advise anyone considering Usercrowd.com to think twice. This is a clear-cut scam designed to exploit unsuspecting individuals and their time. There are countless legitimate online opportunities available without the risks and frustrations associated with this platform.
UserCrowd Company
I have been working with this company for about a month and I must say it is good. I have been receiving 5 tests in one day some times. I wished I have more tests to do. It would be good to have tests every day through out the whole week! but some days I didn't receive any and other days I do. User crowd does really pay! It took me a whole week before I receive my money after redemption which took me by a surprise after all these other comments I have seen other people put and it shows that in most cases it takes 30 days to receive the money depending on if you follow all the rules etc. So for those who wonder about this company? it is a good side income if you want a little extra money in your pocket. Just make sure you follow all the rules 100% and do a great job, never lie about anything and you will for sure get paid for your work. The tests comes first come first serve so if you have all the time on your hands to sit behind the computer then this company will be perfect for you. If you don't have the time then you will miss out on all the tests that are sent your way. most tests are only 1 min to complete! Which is another good thing. I recommend User crowd for those who doesn't have a full time job and don't have a busy week doing other things.
Good site for user testing
This is one of my favorite user testing or survey sites. It is easy to use and self explanatory really. I have actually been a member for many years. They do not have many projects available. Every now and then I can grab one and quickly make a little money which is nice. Once I request a cash out it does take a couple of days but they've always paid . You only have to reach ten dollars to cash out which is also great because that's lower than most other sites.
