ADNTRO is the most informative DNA and ancestry company. Data is displayed in an easy to understand dashboard that provides ancestral as well as health data.....very specific and informative.

I like that you could give me my Maternal haplogroup, and my brother his Y-DNA. I also liked how you tell us how much Neanderthal and Denisovan DNA we have. I really like this site, and will recommend it to everyone I know.

Your service and what you can learn about your genetic background is outstanding. I have always said since I learned about Neanderthal man that I believe I have connections to it and thanks to you I had it confirmed and I also learned that I have connections to Denisovan man.

I had a mixed experience with ADNTRO. There are aspects of their DNA test that I really enjoyed, and others that left me with significant concerns.
The good part: ADNTRO offers detailed insights in areas like nutrition, sports, personality, and especially health, which I found very helpful and well aligned with the results I've received from other DNA testing companies. The reports are clear, easy to understand, and generally consistent across platforms. These features are definitely a strong point.
However, I was disappointed by the "Know Your Origins" section. The first time I tested directly with ADNTRO, the results showed a balanced ancestry composition 44% European and 44% Native American which matches what I’ve seen from four other DNA services.
But when diving deeper into their breakdown, ADNTRO reduced my European ancestry from 44% to just 2%, and increased my Native American ancestry from 44% to 98%. This felt to me like a clear racial bias in the interpretation. I'm not saying it was intentional, but as a user, I felt that a part of my identity was disregarded despite being confirmed consistently by other reputable companies.
Another feature that didn’t seem very useful was the "Labs" section, which shows how my data is related to their scientific team. Honestly, I would have preferred a matchmaking feature with other users, something many other platforms include and which adds a lot of value.
To sum up, I’d give ADNTRO an average rating. While I really appreciated their health and wellness reports, the way they handled ancestry estimation left me quite disappointed and made me question the balance of their algorithm.

It was informative. I wish someone could explain in more detail what my DNA shows

I uploaded my DNA to the site, but the ancestry results seemed inaccurate compared to those from other companies. I reached out for an explanation, and although they initially responded and asked for screenshots of my other results (which I sent), they never followed up. Despite trying multiple times, I received no further communication. Additionally, it's disappointing that access to your results is restricted after a year—especially considering that you've paid for the service. Overall, not a great experience.
Brilliant data points to better understand how to improve your healthcare. They always come up with new markers. Love the insights they provide to my health journey.

I had a great experience with ADNtro! The app and interface are really nice, and I loved how detailed yet easy-to-understand the report was. Their customer service truly stands out — quick, friendly, and extremely helpful with any post-sale or follow-up questions. Highly recommend it to anyone curious about their DNA.

The progress shown after reevaluating my 10 years old 23andme data was impressing. Your results describe me much better and in greater detail than the 23andme analysis. And it feels much better to have the data handeled according to european standards.

The reason I'm not rating them 1 star is that they did eventually reply to my 1st chat message -- 8.5 days after I sent it --and I can't claim that what they wrote was really unreasonable. It was kind of laconic, but I ultimately felt it sufficiently allayed my concern.
So I eventually paid them for ancestry (autosomal) results, but when I saw them I immediately noticed they're almost totally incorrect for an individual of my ancestry, judging by the findings of the properly performed DNA studies.
So I contacted ADNTRO soon afterwards, almost 2 weeks ago, asking that they run another calculation while providing them limits that I feel are reasonable for the hoped-for results. However, they still haven't responded to my request and seem intent on ignoring me.
You can easily see that the staff member for ADNTRO concluded their reply to the last review with the statement, "We are always willing to help our customers to have a good experience with ADNTRO". On another occasion they claimed they operate by the highest standards of fairness. How do these statements square with their indifference toward me? At least on this site I've been treated considerably better by LivingDNA -- a company that's more expensive than ADNTRO for recent ancestry results, but evidently they are more deserving of your money as both their algorithm and treatment of customers are better.
For example back in the day there was no correlation between big 5 and mbti, they fixed that for now, found and other misfunction that resetting my password doesn't load.
