The process of sending of the sample needed a follow up from my side, but everything else was great. I purchased the complete set and received each complete report separately by email, then a personalized Ai generated videos highlighting the main take aways of some of the results, which was very useful. The customer care was also great and very fast when I requested my raw data and the deletion from their system. I highly recommend them.

I, like many others, had an absolutely terrible experience with 24Genetics.com

This is a type of SCAM/FRAUD, but not in the usual way. They will send you their DNA test kit/package, but when you return/send them back your saliva sample, they will intentionally not receive it.

Maybe they even have some kind of fake/just for show laboratory and staff working for them but in the fact they are scamming people in a such a shady/tricky way on regular base. I tried to call all their phone numbers, but none of them responded.

I sent them messages, and they replied a few times, but their answers were not helpful at all. I requested the refund and they even sent message that they refunded but it was a complete lie, they never refunded money I paid to them.

I try to reached their CEO Nacho Esteban to clear out the situation but he never replied and blocked me on Linkedin.

It should be taken legal action against 24genetics.com and their CEO Nacho Esteban as they continue their SCAM scheme every new day!

I have had an absolutely frustrating experience with this company. On May 28, I registered a kit for a genetic test that I had already paid for (300 EUR), and the pick-up at my home was scheduled. However, to date, they have not picked up the kit, and this is my fifth message with no response. I’ve also tried contacting by phone, but I haven’t received any resolution.

The lack of communication is unacceptable, and I truly feel like I am wasting my time with a company that doesn’t care about its customers.

Is this company legitimate? I can’t understand how a business can offer such poor and regrettable service, especially when I have already invested money. I'm now only 300€ down without nothing in return.

I need an immediate solution. At this point, I would not recommend this company to anyone, as the lack of professionalism is evident.

He tenido una experiencia absolutamente frustrante con esta compañía. El 28 de mayo registré un kit para un test genético que ya había pagado (300€), y se acordó la recogida en mi domicilio. Sin embargo, hasta la fecha no han recogido el kit, y este es mi quinto mensaje sin respuesta. He intentado también contactar por teléfono, pero no he obtenido ninguna solución.

La falta de comunicación es inaceptable, y realmente me siento como si estuviera perdiendo el tiempo con una empresa que no tiene en cuenta a sus clientes.
¿Es esta empresa seria? No puedo entender cómo una compañía puede ofrecer un servicio tan deficiente y lamentable, especialmente cuando uno ya ha invertido dinero. Ahora solo gasté 300€ sin nada a cambio :(

Necesito una solución inmediata. A este paso, no recomendaría esta empresa a nadie, ya que la falta de profesionalismo es evidente.

I just got my result back. Looks very interesting The nice thing is that they do not check the recent ancestry ( last 250 years) , but older than this. I bought in Germany, I payed the shipping to Spain, when my sample arrived in Spain they informed me by email. After 10 days I got my results. I just asked per email my DNA Raw Data and I am waiting they send me it. Until now a very good experience.

Absolutely horrible experience. I’ve sent my samples and they haven’t been picked up and sent back to me. Lame and irresponsible !
Please do not buy their kits! You’ll regret it

Many people here have faced similar delays and issues with 24Genetics. I, too, have received repeated emails with the same excuses, which seem to be a stalling tactic. This lack of communication and failure to deliver on promised services suggests something is wrong. I’m considering filing a class action lawsuit against them to hold them accountable. Took a bit longer than promised but I found reports very accurate, and half the price as I could find elsewhere. Thankyou 24 genetics !

To be honest this was a complete waste of money. The customer service was a disaster and the results never came. The company is a bit of a scam. It advertises falsely and I highly recommend you get you testing elsewhere.

I didn't receive the microbiota test results after 6 months and they didn't reply to my last mail. I just received an automatic email that the test is done by an external partner and it takes longer... after 6 months it's not even relevant. Don't waste your money on it.

This experience has been a disaster from start to finish! First the testing kit took weeks to arrive, then after paying £12 for tracked postage to return the completed kit to the company for testing it was somehow posted back through my own front door three weeks later!! Impossible to get any communication from the company. No phone service and customer service email address given seems to serve no purpose whatsoever! After everything will need to go through my bank in an attempt to get a refund. SCAM! DO NOT

I ordered the 24Genetics Ancestry reports for my raw data files that I already had from two other DNA companies. I am extremely happy with the reports, and find them to be detailed and accurate. The 24Genetics ancestry team did their best to answer email communications and to explain in detail how to interpret the reports and how the data was analyzed, which I greatly appreciated. Overall I am impressed with their customer service and the information provided in my raw data ancestry reports, which have given me an excellent perspective on my ancestry and genetic affinities with certain populations.

Very poor service!
I paid £280 for a dna/genetic test and after nearly 3 weeks my sample was returned with no explanation as to why they had returned my sample back from spain without any results(the envelope was not even opened)
I called 3 times and was told to email with my concerns, i then emailed but had no response so as it currently stands I am £280
Down with no test results and no way of contacting anybody to find a solution and when I do call the people at the other end have very little English so it end’s with “please email” of which they then ignore you.

I only have reasons to admire your way of working.

I already knew it in 2016 when I made some suggestions for improvements in your first report model and Vicente Barrio received, thanked and applied them (I was a data analyst and pharmaceutical marketing researcher for many years), ...and I confirm it now with attention received from Sonia Planell and Isaac de Prado this November 2023.

I had a recent 24 Genetics update re Ancestry on a test I did 3 years ago.This time I felt my original Ancestry test results were more accurate as the recent update is quite a but different this time I feel

I've always been curious about my ancestry and health, and I knew that a genetic test would be the best way to learn more about myself. I did a lot of research before I chose a test, and I finally decided on 24Genetics.
The test was straightforward to do. I just swabbed my cheek with a cotton swab, and then I sent the swab back to 24Genetics. I got my results back a few weeks later, and I was blown away by how much information they contained.
I learned a lot about my ancestry. I discovered I'm primarily European, with some Asian and African ancestry. I also learned about my genetic risk for certain diseases. I was surprised to learn that I have a higher risk for a few conditions, but I'm glad that I know about them so I can take steps to reduce my risk.
The most fascinating part of the test was learning about my genetic traits. I found out that I'm more likely to be lactose intolerant, and I'm also more likely to be a morning person. I also learned that my gene makes me more susceptible to sunburn.
Overall, I'm so glad that I took a genetic test. It was a great way to learn more about myself, giving me a new appreciation for my DNA.

The whole experience has been better than I could imagine. The kit arrived by mail, no problems there.

I sent it back to them (they have a lab in Boston as well as in Europe) forgetting to provide an authorization to them (a paper that is included in the kit needs to be filled out correctly and signed, just one page, nothing hard), and their customer service reached out to me, asking to provide that to them (for my own privacy and protection which I appreciated).

After I did, they sent the results of the test by email. And it is very detailed! The whole medical genetic predispositions list with a detailed breakdown, ancestry report which was great and pharmacology report which can also be very useful to know which drugs are more likely to affect you (or even harm you).

I think it's important to know what your genetic concerns are as one can be aware of their lifestyle and if they are potentially causing something to happen in the future which they already genetically predisposed to.

I am very happy with the customer service and the whole process, and the final result. 5 Stars. I wish every company did business this way.

Also, if someone doesn't feel the need to do the test for medical reasons, do at least the ancestry report! It is remarkable that you may find out.

I have been thinking for a loner time about exploring my ancestry DNA, but when I looked at the prices I bought the whole bundle. And I do not regret, the reports are really interesting. Maybe, sometimes translation to my native language is a bit clumsy, but overall effect is very good. The whole procedure form payment to the reports took some 7 weeks.
And what was important for me to choose 24genetics was the fact that it is an UE based company, and I feel that legal regulations in the UE are quite strict in privacy issues, medical information protection etc.

I’ve ordered 7 reports. I got more than 300 pages by Mail. It is very interesting and clear. Now I got my raw data and my genotypes, I can search online for more information about my genes. It is a very nice way to get more about myself. Only the ancestry report is a bit limited. I’d like to know if there is a bit is Neanderthal in me. But that a small one.
