The confirmation letter I received…

The confirmation letter I received after purchasing a policy on Oct. 4 did not have my correct address on it. Then when I replied to the email I got a vague non-response that did not address the concern. My call did not go through to the customer service number. I don’t know if I really have insurance at this point.

Update: Oct. 6: I called Generali Insurance and the agent I spoke with confirmed I have insurance and corrected my address. They also reviewed other data in my customer record to ensure it was complete and correct. I have no idea where the incorrect address came from and feel confident that I did not make a typo in entering my address on the application -- the address shown was a completely different address with the only similarity being my state. I hope that this may just be a minor system problem that you can correct so it will not happen again to someone else. It took a fair amount of time to call Generali and correct it. Also, I thought I was on the Generali website on Oct. 4. I did not realize I was on (or going through) Visitors Coverage, Inc. until after I had purchased the insurance. Next time I will ensure I am on the website for the Insurance Company. Thank you for your reply.

Thank you for updating your review and sharing all the details. We’re very sorry for the mix-up with the address on your confirmation. This was caused by a technical issue that autofilled our company address when it should have used yours. We’ve sent you an email with screenshots showing your original information and the corrected confirmation, for reference.

We’re also in communication with Generali to make sure this issue is fixed and doesn’t happen again. We’re glad to hear your coverage is now confirmed and truly appreciate you taking the time to let us know. Feedback like yours helps us improve the experience for everyone.
