Thank you LNER again All Stars

Thank you LNER again. I’ve travelled for the last couple of months from Leeds down to Cornwall because of my dad passing away. My travel from Leeds down to London/leeds has been stress free You’ve been cheerful, courteous and professional. You’ve fed and watered me great food and drink. You’re all top people. When I’ve been late from every connected train journey with GWR ( nothing great from them) I know I could rely on LNER to lift my spirits for my journey home. Thank you so much…..see you soon.

Redruth to Leeds train day after my…

Redruth to Leeds train day after my father in laws funeral. Train cancelled at Plymouth. No train there after. Had to buy tickets from Plymouth to London with GWR & LNER to get back to Leeds. Delay repay..unsuccessful unsuccessful unsuccessful….you might as well just hand over your money…the service or lack of is absolutely disgusting. How they are allowed to get away with it……

The Ivy Leeds

We took my mother-in-law for a thank you lunch. I wish we didn’t.
My fiancé chose the Sunday lunch…terrible. How they allowed the plate to leave the kitchen? All the veg was lukewarm, Yorkshire pudding were doughy but the main event, a plate of fatty beef, really fatty beef, hardly any beef but much fat…..who allowed that out for a customer? Do they really think this would be acceptable for someone to eat….it looked like it was meant for the bin 🤢
My fiancé complained, they were quick to take it away but was offered a replacement of beef…really? He was put off food for the rest of the day.
They removed the meal from the bill & his drink….which yes we appreciated but how did they think or the kitchen staff think that this meal was edible. I was reluctant to even go there. But never again. Too complacent. The Ivy is London, not the chain it has become.

Proper Cornish, Proper pasty

A favourite place of ours. Wonderful fresh food, local produce, top quality meat.
The best pasty ever. My mum always rings to say they are having an Etheringtons for tea ( I live up north) jealous.
But the staff are wonderful, proper lovely. It touches my heart to hear our beautiful accent from the staff. Amazing farm shop.

Not even a smile

Tried to take 3 items back for a refund without a receipt to the Leeds store. Very rude store assistant. ‘We are not taking returns’ the system is down’ that was it…no apology, no nothing.
I messaged M & S and they had said that now the system was up and running…went to a different store and yet again the same reply, same problem. Not one bit of customer care. RUDE!

Still no refund or cancellation of Item

I bought a pair of trainers online for them to be picked up at Manchester Selfridges. Because I was flying from the airport that day there was many delays so I couldn’t make the centre of Manchester, so I decided to cancel them for a refund. Ordered on the 27th April
3 attempts for them to be cancelled, 3 different excuses of why the order hasn’t changed. Then an email to say it will take a few more days for the order to change…….is it really that difficult, do you not talk to each department,?
All I would like is for my order to be cancelled please and to be refunded….this year.

A great outcome

Finally a great outcome…I received my winnings working with Paul from the fraud & payments team.
I really appreciated his time sticking with me to come to a final conclusion.
We got there in the end with no chasing from me.
