British Gas AWFUL

I have been promise £40 compensation by British Gas, (not asked for off me) over a month ago for their apologies for turning up late to fit smart meters getting connected

I have sent in total 5/6 emails asking when I will receive this and alls I get is automated response saying we have received your email.

I previously had problems with British Gas as I wasn’t on the national grid data base for the previous 11 years as my property was a new build and was still registered as a plot this took me on and off two years from complaining to finally receiving compensation. Looks like this complaint is going exactly the same way.

So my advice would be, don’t go with British Gas as they are so unprofessional and unreliable it is unbelievable considering they are one of the big six, I will not stay with British Gas, you bet I never receive my £40 compensation. I can also include email received from them.

Hi all,absolutely awful.

Hi all,

I bought some cleaning solution from site, they did send me confirmation email my order had been dispatched, then a few days later I got an email from Evri saying your order has been delivered with a photograph of my parcel on the front door step (my property has no gates).

At the time I had my elderly Mum out shopping and didn’t return unti approximately 3.15 the parcel was left around 1.20pm.

After checking my email saying parcel and showing photo, I checked again behind bins and wall. No parcel!!

Emailed shop on tv and was told it was legal for Evri to leave parcel at property, then had to contact Evri who took there time to get back to me, they told me they apologised for any inconvenience caused but after investigating this they found the parcel had been left unsafe and to contact retailer or bank I had paid from. (FURIOUS)

Contacted shop on tv again who said they would look into this. (Talk about being passed from pillar to post)

My advice would be, don’t order from this site, they are quick enough to take your money and then don’t give a F- - k about your product or your money.

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Please be aware as are you not very technical or good with emails they will rip you off.
