Horrible customer service
Do not purchase anything from Houzz marketplace!! They do not back their purchased nor support their customers. Instead, they will perpetuate the lies that their vendors concoct and not follow up with any updates as they promised.
Before my item shipped, I requested cancellation. This was denied as apparently the item had shipped and almost magically, I received a tracking number. That was June 2. It is now July 3 and the product still has not moved, and the vendor is promising delivery by July 4. Really? I’d be surprised if UPS delivers on the Fourth of July, but I highly doubt it. On June 30, Houzz said that the order may be canceled if there is no movement or if the seller does not respond. July 2, nothing. No updates from Houzz. No movement on the package. I call Houzz again three more times, and now I’m being asked to wait to see if the package arrives tomorrow. It’s been an ordeal! Learn from my experience — do not shop from Houzz!!
Response to Houzz: I have sent several emails as part of that thread and I don’t get any additional information unless I call and demand more information. Otherwise, it’s a black hole. I’m also told I would be given updates, but no one has proactively called or emailed me with updates. Again, I have to call to know what’s going on. Otherwise, all I know is that you have my money and I have nothing to show for it after over a month from when it was supposedly shipped.
