Overbooked hotel and refund refused.

Arrived at the hotel to be told fully booked! Had to arrange our own alternative and on top of that Hotels.com have refused to refund the hotel booking, telling me I must get in touch with the hotel directly myself!! I have a hand written letter from the hotel manager stating no rooms were available and still no refund.

Refused to replace door with poor paintwork.

We had a 8,000 euro kitchen fitted and all seemed well until my granddaughter stuck a school picture to a cabinet door with sellotape, this was only for a very brief time (maybe 10 seconds) and when we removed it the paint lifted of the door.
Clearly the door was not prepared correctly for this to have happened and I thought it would be a very straight matter of contacting them for a replacement.
Not so even after sending photographs Leroy Merlin have point blank refused to replace the door stating the paint work was OK when it left the manufacturers!
Having been in the trade for many years I know if you prep correctly paint will not lift.
Really disappointed with them and now been told to go to the store and request the complaints book if not happy.
I would never reccomend Leroy Merlin as the after sale customer service is so bad.

Booking confirmation means nothing to this hotel

We booked a one night stay in the Square Hotel in Side with Hotels.com and on arrival at 12 noon told to relax given our wrist bands and told come back at 2pm. When we went to check in at 2pm we were informed the hotel was full? No mention when we arrived, booking was checked and our bands given ! Clearly our one night was given up for a longer booking. We were offered to be placed in another hotel some 20 minutes away and of poor quality, we declined. Knowing to cancel on the day could mean no refund I got a letter from the manager stating they had cancelled the booking and even recorded this. On return Hotels.com have refused my refund stating there having an issues contacting the hotel and we should take it up directly.
What more could I do the hotel had no room, we booked with Hotel.com not the hotel. It would appear the hotel have been paid for the room and the hotel are refusing to refund Hotel.com or there just ignoring the requests to verify the cancellation Terrible customer service from both Hotels.com and the Square hotel.

Beware booking a room here as it may just disappear and you will be stuck with being given a downgraded hotel.

Still waiting g for a refund from the…

Still waiting g for a refund from the 1st June.

Canceled booking and recieved no refund.

We booked a one night stay at the Square hotel in Side through Hotels.com and on arrival informed the hotel was fully booked! and given an option to stay at a lower standard of hotel some 20 minutes away which we refused. Told to cancel the hotel which we did and knowing the booking conditions with Hotels.com (cancelling on the day, no refund) I asked the manager to write a letter confirming why we cancelled and even recorded this.
On returning thought it would be a very straight forward matter to request the refund, after speaking to a representative I was asked to send a photograph of the letter, which I did. I have now been told as Hotels.com have not been able to speak to the hotel to confirm (language issues??) I will not recieve the refund and I need to contact the hotel myself!
I made my booking with Hotels.com and rather than them apologising for the issue they have just passed the issue back to me, I knew the cancellation policy but given the hotel was full (plus we had to find our own alternative accommodation) what option did we have plus I collected as much evidence as I could with the letter and the video. Very disappointed with the level of customer care.

Review of leroy merlin

Avoid Leroy Merlin kitchens, poor quality and shocking customer care

We paid over 8,000 euro on a kitchen and I requested a new cabinet door after the paint lifted when my granddaughter used sellotape for all of 10 seconds. I contacted customer service expecting a very quick reply and a new door, I WAS WRONG!.
It is clear the paint has not been applied after sealing the wood otherwise the paint would not have lifted so easy, Leroy Merlin contacted the manufacturers and they said it left the factory correct and just refused to except any responsibility. I have been told i now have to order and pay for a new door! This is on a new kitchen costing 8,000 euro. Very poor quality product do not buy.

I made a mistake and added the wrong post code and the hob was sent to Barcelona! However Eureka started a new order and it arrived at our address, I thought I may be charged for the extra delivery, but I was not.

This is a scam site

This is a scam site. Looks professional and you recieve an invoice and tracking number, but it never arrives. No way to contact them other than reply on original email, no reply.
Avoid this site.
