I would like preface this negative review with a comment about our sales assistant Jason: despite numerous issues which I will expand upon below, Jason was extremely helpful, charismatic and supportive. There were numerous issues with the bank and the part exchange value of our car but jason could not have done enough for us. He was helpful throughout the whole sale and was communicative at every stage. He was a real asset to the process and without him our experiance of available car would have been wholely negative. I want to stress that Jason was absolutely excellent and we really appreciate the time and effort he put into the sale of our car.
However, the Santander bank process was not smooth for us and the hand over of the vehicle was not good. Despite the hand over being pushed back several days due to hold ups with the bank, it was arranged that my vehicle collection would be at 4pm on Wednesday 26th June. No one came to see me until 1619 and at this point I was presented with the keys to the wrong car. After a further ten minutes of waiting the car we did buy was shown to me, it was filthy. The back seats were covered in muck, the central console had footprints on it and there were hairs all over the back seat and back footwells. Considering the fact that my self and my husband were spending £20,000 we would have expected much better quality cleaning.
I appreciate that this was quickly rectified by the sales assistant doing the hand over but the whole process does not seem to have been smooth and this was another negative ending to what should have been an exciting process.
