Total rip off
Total rip off. They are supposed to try to clear the blocked toilet for a flat fee of around £150 BEFORE they try a more expensive option. My plumber just took a few pics and then I was told I would need to pay £800 to clear it. They also left the toilet full of water with nothing on the floor to soak anything up so that when flat upstairs flushed their toilet mine overflowed and out into the hall carpet. Thankfully it didnt smell and he did bring in some towels to soak it up (after suggesting I use my own bath towel!!) He did clear my sink and bath for which Im grateful but later on a different plumber confirmed I had been ripped off. I thought I would avoid the age old problem of being ripped off by emergency plumbers by using a larger company but no, its the same old story.
