Extremely Poor Customer Service
The furniture company with which I placed an order used Fragilepak for delivery, Order 641U1788640. I spoke with them several times in advance of the delivery date, which was long past the date that was promised to me. I told them that the earliest that I could get off of work to receive the delivery was 3:00 pm and they repeatedly assured me that this would be no problem at all. However, several days prior to the promised date of delivery, they said that they could only deliver to me on Wednesday and in the morning, which is a work time for me. I requested the opportunity to speak with a supervisor several times. I was told that none were available and although I was assured that I would receive a call back soon from supervisor, I never received one.
This is an update, which I am writing on Monday, 2/12. My order is finally scheduled to be delivered in two days. We will see if that actually happens. I have still not received a call back from a supervisor, but this review seems to finally have gotten their attention. It really shouldn't have come to this. I took an entire day off of work to receive this delivery. I'm anxious to see if it actually happens, or if they cancel it again. I will update this review accordingly.
UPDATE: So, the furniture was finally delivered. However, the day before, I emailed Fragilepak Customer "Service" several times to make certain that they had the correct phone number for my smartphone so that they could keep me informed of my estimated delivery time. I then too it one step further and I called Fragilepak customer service and they too assured me that they had my correct number. Of course, on the day of delivery, they called the wrong number and it wasn't until the delivery people were at my residence that they got around to notifying them of my cell number. The service was just awful from start to finish.
