Amazon Prime Video Shittification

Amazon Prime Video is systematically going through the service shittification process. Now that all of the market share has been captured and no growth is possible, they are steadily making the experience worse for users to push towards premium tiers that did not exist before.

It used to be no ads, and cheaper. Then ads between episodes. Now , without an additional premium, there are THREE ADS DURING AN EPISODE of 45 minutes.

If it was possible to unsubscribe from this and reduce the cost of prime delivery, it would be absolutely worth it, as by now it has reached the level of "awful" service, similar level to cable television.

ABN Amro - the insurance fraudsters

ABN Amro - the insurance fraudsters. I cannot even begin to describe how unacceptable their handling of claims is.

A 3rd party reported we got into an accident with them half a year ago, which the bank never verified with us. They never collected our information, or if the incident actually happened. They determined, without any input from our side, that the accident was our fault, and that we are losing our deductable and have to pay nearly 900 euro not to lose it.

We within 1 working day contacted the bank insurance branch and contested the claim. Regardless of that, a week has passed and our insurance accident-free record was was removed, and insurance premium massively increased.

The fact the bank paid out a claim without consultation of any kind with us, and told us, our customer, to basically take a hike, is beyond unacceptable. They will lose all our insruance business (house and car) and our accounts.

We cannot be sure some random person form the street won't walk in and empty our accounts claiming with zero proof that they are us. Because this is literally what was done here.

Samsung service has failed any expectations

Samsung has completely failed with our washing machine. After 6 years, it has broken, but the service they force to use to make the repairs is beyond incompetent.

Even though the part that has broken is actually on warranty, after a week of waiting for service to come to determine that, they need another week now to come replace that part. Two weeks without a washing machine is just not acceptable, with 45 minute long call center waiting times for said service, we cannot trust they will even perform that repair. Having two adults and two children ages 1 and 4 at home, it is not acceptable to wait 2 weeks to repair a washing machine on warranty. They treat it like it's any other thing like a TV or other luxury appliance and it can take time to come and perform reparis. Next items we replace these with for sure will not be Samsung.

Horrible Service

First call, over 30 minutes waiting to even have the call picked up, but dropped right after (could have been a technical issue). However, I was not called back, so I called again. 45 minutes in, still waiting for my call to be taken.

As an edit follow up. Once the technician did come, which took a whole week from reporting, he did not have the proper equipment to fix the issue. The guidance to what the issue would be was provided, as instructed by the service itself, by email to their email address. That instruction was forwarded 6 days prior to the technician's visit.

I cannot believe Samsung would choose a company like that for their service. The incompetence of their administration is unbelievable for items as critical as washing machines. To receive the proper parts, they will take another week, and charge again for another visit. We will likely not repair the machine as they just cannot be trusted.

DHL - delivering, but somewhere you can't get it

This scenario happens repeatedly with DHL - order packages to be delivered either home or to a drop-off point. DHL fails to do so and delivers the package to the other side of town to some random store that has opening hours shorter than a normal person's working hours. The company fails to provide the most basic service of delivering a package to an address or provide an accessible pick-up point close by.
