Robbery and scam
Robbery and scam. I used instant through Publix on February 14, 2025. There was a promo $15 off $100. I had over $300+ in groceries. I noticed each time as I go to the point to check out the $15 was not reflecting on my order. I called numerous times unable to get anyone. So I resorted to chat. I explained that the $15 off was not reflecting in my order. They advised I could proceed and it will be applied afterwards. I was hesitant to do so because I knew they’d come with some shit after I used my credit card. Sure enough they was no promo applied. I called numerous times and chatted again. The last rep I spoke with told a bold faced lie that she applied the $15 to my credit card and that she sent numerous emails confirming this. LIES! I never received one email from InstaCart!!! I called and chatted again and to no avail. I then checked on the text for my order to find that she returned half of the $15 to a EBT card and the other half to my credit card!!!! All of it should have beef returned to my credit card as this was the method I used to cover their stupid fees etc. I will never recommend or use InstaCart again. Customer service is basically non existent. My chat was ended several times as I was trying to send proof of the promo by screenshot. They just ended the chat while I was in mid sentence. What kind of customer service is that?!?! InstaCart is nothing but a high priced platform with fees fees fees. And on top of that I picked up my groceries myself so how in the hell do you give me a $5 promo off delivery fee?!?!! My groceries was not delivered!! I guess this was to justify them not giving me the $15 off $100 promo as advertised by Publix on their website which one rep saw but for some mysterious reason the other reps did not see it. In which I was trying to send a screenshot but they ended the chat. Just imaging how many people they are getting over on by not giving this promo. You’re cheating people and then not returning the $15 to the right payment method that was used!!! Someone mentioned a class action lawsuit. I agree and hope that others get tired of InstaCart’s horrible customer service, cheating, lying and robbing people! Then no true service to rectify the issue because you can’t get a live person or anyone who will not lie and cheat you as well!!
