Two years later

I first ordered from this site two years ago. I was one of the first people to write a review on them. However this review got deleted because they told Trustpilot they had sorted it out with me. They only took action because I threatened to write a review, not because they wanted to. But it’s been two years now and I can see other people have had similar experiences to me upon me reading the reviews on here. So I’m going to be petty and leave this review.

GoHenry have blocked the cards for my special needs children

I work in a children’s residential home and GoHenry have blocked all of the children’s cards. They have no access to their money which is sad because they were looking forward to going out on activities. The explanation given by GoHenry was vague. They said they didn’t know the cards were registered under a company for children to use. So basically they want to increase how much we pay for memberships to make more of a profit. GoHenry have also said the money in those accounts will be wiped in the next 5 days. Not really a good look taking money from special needs children.

It’s currently being handled by an executive in the company I work for. It’s above me now, not much more I can do but share my experience.

Apply for loans and don’t get response to win clubcard points

I applied for a loan from Tesco bank, I was eligible for this loan because I had a clubcard so I thought I had a good chance of being approved. However they never got back to me at all regarding my application. They did a hard search on my credit account (which stays on my account for 6 months) and never emailed, called or texted about whether or not I’ve been approved. But they still send me emails about clubcard points and all the special offers they have going, but they can’t make a decision on my application. Priorities right.

Evri-one is happy

I have ordered my fair share of parcels from online clothing shops, 9 times out of 10 it is Evri delivering the parcels to me. The communication is fantastic, they are always letting me know where bouts my parcel is and if they are any delays. They are quick and efficient. Very reliable company.

My £100 life

I’ve had enough at this point. In December of last year my contract with 3 came to an end, I didn’t upgrade my phone and I kept it as a sim only deal for £12. All was going well until April came and I get an email saying I had an outstanding balance of £100 and it had been sent to a debt collection agency.

I called 3 and asked them why I was being charged a £100. They said it was because I cancelled my contract and didn’t call them to let them know. I NEVER cancelled my contract I switched my contract to a sim only deal because it was more affordable.

So you would think if someone had an outstanding balance of £100 that they WEREN’T aware of, for something as petty as not calling them to let them know you switched your contract to a sim only deal they would email or call you about it right ?.

Nope…. I didn’t get a single email regarding the fact I owe £100 until April when they sent an email saying “your account has been sent for collections”. Not a single phone call either, they waited 5 months to tell me that I had an outstanding balance. Instead of emailing me they let me incur charges on my account for 5 months.

If they had emailed or called me I would’ve explained the situation that I have switched to a sim only deal and I hadn’t cancelled my contract with them. My Experian credit score went down from excellent to poor within the space of a week and now that’s going to stay on my report for the next SEVEN YEARS.

I was planning on applying for a mortgage but how can I with a credit score like that, they’ve literally RUINED my life this past year. I tried explaining to my credit company about the misunderstanding and they contacted 3 on my behalf but 3 told them a bunch of lies so I can’t even get the late payments removed.

I thought that was the end of it, however since I’ve been using a new number they have been secretly charging me each month for the old number I don’t use and they sent me an email saying I owe £50!!. The nerve of these guys…absolute criminals. I had to call them to discontinue my old number so I didn’t get charged anymore.

So that’s the end of it right?….Nope they sent me a letter saying I had to pay £76 as a final bill then they’ll leave me alone. I cancelled the number in July however they were still charging me 30 days after cancelling.

These people are nothing but scammers, they are pathetic low lives who just want to suck every last penny they can out of people. How they can trade as a company is crazy to me. Thanks for everything 3 hope you get what you deserve in the end.

This isn't the kind of experience we'd like you to go through, Jay. We'd never want to cause any hassle to our customers & are always looking to be transparent with all our dealings. It looks like you may have registered additional SIM only contract instead of an upgrade due to which you've incurred £100 charge. We wouldn't want to charge even a penny extra of your hard-earned money. To cancel the contract, you need to place 30 days notice. If it isn't placed, contract is active on monthly rolling term. We do understand how annoying this would have been for you receiving calls from debt collection agency. We're sad to know that your credit file has been impacted. We do notify our customers when there's outstanding balance isn't paid before it's passed on to debt collection agency. My PS5 I ordered never arrived

I ordered a PS5 with next day delivery and it was due to arrive on Saturday but it never arrived. I called them on the Monday to find out why it didn’t arrive, turns out it was never even processed and was still in the warehouse. I was very disappointed I spent three days waiting and trying to fit my schedule around for when it would be delivered. Unlikely I’ll be ordering from there again, they should improve communication with customers and give updates when delays happen instead of doing nothing.
