Courier left the parcel outside my front door, someone has taken it and customer service would not send out another order

I recently ordered some shirts from Hawes and Curtis. It was left outside my front door as there was no-one at the property. My front door is visible from the road.

A couple of hours later, someone on a bicycle has noticed the parcel and taken it. I have this on CCTV.

As per royal mail policy, parcels should not be left outside the front door if it's visible from the road. The courier has confirmed this to be the case as well.

The level of customer service from Hawes and Curtis received has been appalling. They have not acknowledged the wrongdoings from the courier and offered any kind of help.

Never received order even after nearly a month

I made a purchase on 21st July 2023 and still not received the item. Every time I contact customer service I am being told that there has been a high volume of orders and mine will be sent out as a priority but it's nearly been a month. Recently emailed to say I would rather get a refund and purchase elsewhere but they said they would get back to me about cancelling my order. It's been 4 days already and no reply since. Really poor customer service. Do not order from this site.

We would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused, during the June/July period we had a significant demand for certain items and there was a manufacturing delay in them arriving,

This is the first time we have had such a big delay impacting our customers and recognize this has cause significant impact on our orders from this period.

Although all items are available again now as normal, we had a big backlog of orders and cancellations due to delays to process, however your order was refunded in full 3 days after your request for refund was viewed.
