I have used Intuit for years

I have used Intuit for years, but something happened this year. The program is more difficult to use, and the encouragement is toward paying for premium, which is nearly as expensive as simply going to a tax consultant. It is kind of like doing your own taxes, but on-line. Very labor intensive, and probably better than doing it by yourself off-line, but not sure it is worth the high cost. By and large, the customer service reps are great, but not all experiences are good. Be weary of the Will Builder add-on sale. A useless product that I could not use, and I couldn't get my money back.

great shoe company, great shoes.

they seem to be growing at a very fast pace, but despite that I was able to get incredible customer service. As for the shoes; they are by far my favorite.

great shoes, terrible service

I on on my second pair and have ordered a pair of boots. The bottom line is that are comfortable and since a I have major foot problems one of the few shoes I can wear (Haflinger clogs are the best, for sure). Having said that thier customer support is non-existant. No working phone number and never a response to emails. Finally, they give a 5,000 mile sole warrenty, but the uppers will go long before that. In summary, they are a great purchase assuming nothing goes wrong. To add insult to injury they responded to this review with an automated response saying they just delayed due to volume. My first email to thier support department was sent out months ago. great marketing, non-existant service.

BEWARE of AirBnB

BEWARE: I booked a reservation with a super-host that turned out to be in a very remote rural location that was ultimately inaccessable. After trying repeately to contact the host without success I had to book a last minute hotel late at night. The following day I spend hours trying to resolve it with AirBnB, but they refused to help and informed me that I could not even cancel. After hours and hours on the phone in subsequent calls with AirBnB it became obvious that they were not going to help me. In addition to paying for a very last minute late night hotel I lost all of the money with the AirBnB reservation and was told repeatedly by AirBnB that hosts do not have to reimburse if they do not want to, regardless of the circumstances. In essence, they don't vet their hosts or listings and have iron-clad contracts that go against the guests.
