I received a parking ticket despite…

I received a parking ticket despite paying on the app and having an invoice. This is a Fraudulent company that is only trying to make money with false evidence and harassing the public with fines. Such a nuisance and breach of data collection.

Horizon parking- 3 parking charges scam

I received three parking letters in a span of two weeks. This was despite booking and paying via the app. The email receipt did not generate on these occasions and I have been asked to pay 3 fines for no fault of mine. The company is only trying to extort money by sending parking charges. I paid £57 for one, to avoid further charges. However, I have evidence of call logs, messages and registration details, which I have sent as evidence to appeal the decision for the all three charges. Horizon parking is an absolute scam and I hope the government picks up on their illegal activity and cancels their licence. Thieves and scammers they are. They have no right to issue parking charges without proper evidence and yet they do.

Three major leaks and still not had flooring compensation from March

We moved into our house end of March. A week after moving, we had a major pipe leak which damaged our flooring and belongings. We had to call emergency plumbers who sorted it. Following this Avant were happy to pay for flooring and goods. A valve was missed and water pressures caused the leak. Following this we had another leak from the ceiling close to the same area where the previous leak was. We had to ring emergency plumbers again. This time a faulty valve was the issue. While negotiating both leaks and compensation. Avant have offered minimal disruption compensation. We still are awaiting a decision from Avant and a decent compensation. We have had 3rd another leak from boiler as well which is ongoing. We have been contacting them for the compensation however, haven't heard anything back yet. The quality of workmanship is extremely poor and disappointing. Avant offers minimal compensation which is absolutely unfair. Customers should not have to put up with poor quality homes. We had new flooring damaged and we are yet to have flooring replaced from the first leak and living in a home with one room. I would not waste my time money and effort in buying an Avant home. A huge mistake made and regret the decision. Alot of snags due to poor quality work. I would never recommend an Avant home.

Recent snag survey for my property

I had a recent survey for my property by Adam from Knott brothers who was very professional, offered the right advice and provided a detailed report that is immensely beneficial. Adam was able to identify numerous snags that we will be getting sorted with the builders. The Knott brothers are certified and excellent in their field of expertise. Adam is patient, dedicated and thorough in the survey. We had issues with Avant homes during the sales process and did not want to complete home sales without having a detailed survey. We are now able to submit all the identified snags with pictorial evidence and thermal imaging to the builders. I would highly recommend the Knott brothers.

Update following our home demo

Following our home demo which is still not completed, we have seen damages to the property. Poor quality finish for the cost customers pay. Absolutely disappointed with Avant. They should be ashamed of themselves. Damaged garage external and internal wall, leaking ensuite shower and main bathroom shower cubicle, damage to the double glass door to the back of the property needs replacing, a large gap running all along the back fence of the property which is misaligned. Damage to the wardrobe, cracked window sill in the kitchen needs replacing. Absolutely disappointing and regretful experience. Avant need to take responsibility and accountability and not merely seek profit. Poor reflection of duty of care to customers. Trust pilot please include no star as a rating option as well. Avant don't deserve even one star in my opinion.

Please do not consider Avants reply

Please do not consider the reply Avant have made in relation to my previous review. They are only trying to gain credibility of the public by replying to my reviews. There has been no discussion what so ever by the sales managers with regard to the colour of my roof tiles. Avant sales representatives have acknowledged that they have not explained to us with regards to the roof tiles. We were told Avant's legal team don't acknowledge verbal responses or conversation had with the sales representative as proof,so if possible people,record your conversations with the sales representatives and use it as evidence if need be in the future. Avant will never agree to the errors or take responsibility for their teams failings as evident in their reply to my previous review. Therefore, only proving how they only place fault on the customer, to gain profit. The drawings were shown to us, but the codes had both coloured roof tiles on it. The sales representative mentioned they would change the way the drawings were set up for future customers..proof that error did occur. The roof and what the codes meant were not explained to us. The tiles were never discussed, not even once during the many meetings we have had with the sale representatives. Yes, we were contacted by the regional sales representative, but it was futile as no benefit to the customer at all. We were told Avant will not compensate. We were told it's a waste of time. Avant's legal team had 3 options for us. One where the roof tiles would be changed for a cost of £9500 that we had to pay. Why would I pay for a mistake Avant have made? Option 2, withdrawal of contract with a payment for the extras which is 11,000 pounds and no option of a clean break. So I pay for the.extras and end up with no house. How is that fair? And option 3, which was for us to move into the house and then raise a formal.complaint starting all over again from the beginning which I am sure Avants legal team will only be biased as seen in the options provided. Absolutely Ridiculous!!! Therefore please be warned, that if any issues are raised,Avant will only seek profit and don't care about customer satisfaction or duty of care. Not once was there a option offered that would meet us in the middle. Now we have to live with a choice we never made due to poor communication that lead us to a misinformed decision. Absolutely disappointing experience. We all deserve better for the amount of money we spend. I am yet to see the quality of the build and snags. I have lost trust and all respect for Avant after hearing the options offered by their biased legal team and will never recommend AVANT homes to anyone. Will keep the public updated on every detail. Please find another builder who provides flooring and carpets included as well, unlike Avant and use your money wisely instead of getting trapped with the contract with Avant. Avant can say all want to gain customers, but there are more unhappy customers than happy ones in my opinion to be honest. Avant should learn to take responsibility for errors caused by their team, have accountability,prioritise customer satisfaction and duty care to customers. Not merely seek to make a profit when errors have occured. Please see the 2500 plus unhappy Avant customer group on Facebook as evidence.

I would not recommend AVANT homes

I would not recommend AVANT homes. Absolutely disappointing experience with the purchase of our new build. There is poor communication between the sales representatives. There is a lack of clear communication to customers at the time of signing drawings and the contract, which has lead to us having a completely different roof tile colour from what we were told initially we were getting. This was not explained to us during signing the NHQC drawings by the sales representatives. Avant takes no responsibility for errors and is not willing to compensate us in any way. Overall poor customer service and no accountability taken for errors. Please also, do not agree to use the solicitors Avant recommends. They usually recommend Ison Harrison, saying it would help speed up paper work. When we raised our concerns to the solicitor, with regards to the roof tiles, she was very rude to us. Please choose your own solicitor who would represent your best interest when issues do occur. We are still having ongoing discussions, which has been ongoing for more than 6 weeks and the options offered by Avants legal team in no means is fair to the customer. Please also choose other builders and save yourself from a poor, disappointing experience. Will ensure to keep updating so people are made aware.

We’re very sorry your experience has been disappointing and you feel the communication has been poor. We are aware the Regional Sales Manager for your development has been in regular communication with you in relation to the roof tile colour, and as we have discussed, the correct drawings which shows the colour of your roof tiles and other materials with a key detailing the material type and colour used to finish your home, was shown to you, signed by yourself, and a copy provided to you when you reserved your new home.

Also during this reservation meeting, and as noted on the signed reservation checklist, that we offer customers to choose a legal representative (Solicitor) from our approved panel, who have acted on behalf of many of our purchasers, with excellent feedback received, however the checklist does clearly state that you are not obliged to do so and can choose to instruct any legal representative you wish to act for you in the purchase of your new home.

We continue to receive excellent feedback from customers who have purchased and moved into their new homes at your development, so we are truly sorry you remain disappointed, but hope you settle in quickly into your beautiful new home.

I would not recommend AVANT homes to…

I would not recommend AVANT homes to anyone, as I do not wish for anyone else to deal with the issues we have had and still remain unresolved. We were not given information by sales representatives prior to signing NHQC drawings for our property about the codes which indicate the colour for the roof for our property, we were promised to have a certain colour by one sales representative and were under the impression that this was what we were getting. We later realised only after the roof went on, that we had the roof colour that we did not agree on. It was too late, there was no option to change the roof or choose a different property and we were just informed that we are not being compensated in anyway by AVANT for the lack of clear communication. We were dealing with three different sales representatives, discussing extras and there were items missed on the extras/ choices invoice, which we had to go over and sign three times. Again, a clear lack of communication between the team as well. Please be made aware that there will be no customer compensation from AVANT, should issues occur.
