Please do not consider the reply Avant have made in relation to my previous review. They are only trying to gain credibility of the public by replying to my reviews. There has been no discussion what so ever by the sales managers with regard to the colour of my roof tiles. Avant sales representatives have acknowledged that they have not explained to us with regards to the roof tiles. We were told Avant's legal team don't acknowledge verbal responses or conversation had with the sales representative as proof,so if possible people,record your conversations with the sales representatives and use it as evidence if need be in the future. Avant will never agree to the errors or take responsibility for their teams failings as evident in their reply to my previous review. Therefore, only proving how they only place fault on the customer, to gain profit. The drawings were shown to us, but the codes had both coloured roof tiles on it. The sales representative mentioned they would change the way the drawings were set up for future customers..proof that error did occur. The roof and what the codes meant were not explained to us. The tiles were never discussed, not even once during the many meetings we have had with the sale representatives. Yes, we were contacted by the regional sales representative, but it was futile as no benefit to the customer at all. We were told Avant will not compensate. We were told it's a waste of time. Avant's legal team had 3 options for us. One where the roof tiles would be changed for a cost of £9500 that we had to pay. Why would I pay for a mistake Avant have made? Option 2, withdrawal of contract with a payment for the extras which is 11,000 pounds and no option of a clean break. So I pay for the.extras and end up with no house. How is that fair? And option 3, which was for us to move into the house and then raise a formal.complaint starting all over again from the beginning which I am sure Avants legal team will only be biased as seen in the options provided. Absolutely Ridiculous!!! Therefore please be warned, that if any issues are raised,Avant will only seek profit and don't care about customer satisfaction or duty of care. Not once was there a option offered that would meet us in the middle. Now we have to live with a choice we never made due to poor communication that lead us to a misinformed decision. Absolutely disappointing experience. We all deserve better for the amount of money we spend. I am yet to see the quality of the build and snags. I have lost trust and all respect for Avant after hearing the options offered by their biased legal team and will never recommend AVANT homes to anyone. Will keep the public updated on every detail. Please find another builder who provides flooring and carpets included as well, unlike Avant and use your money wisely instead of getting trapped with the contract with Avant. Avant can say all want to gain customers, but there are more unhappy customers than happy ones in my opinion to be honest. Avant should learn to take responsibility for errors caused by their team, have accountability,prioritise customer satisfaction and duty care to customers.
