I have been using eBay for over 10 years now as a private seller. I have to say the experience has grown more and more frustrating as the years go on. They protect the buyer at all costs to the point that as a seller you are ripped off by unscrupulous buyers 9/10. They prefer to refund buyer and Seller be damned, no matter how much evidence you provide in your favour. And now the final nail in the coffin. Instead of sending your payments directly to your bank account you have to scroll through a menu to find the option to send your earnings to yourself, therefore not allowing ebay to hold them in their bank account. If this was not bad enough, they have recently changed this to the seller not receiving funds till 2 days after the buyer has received the goods. Leaving you out of pocket in the meantime. eBay is a joke.

Sends out scam emails saying you have won a prize - usually a reduced in price Victoria secrets set, for £2. What they don't tell you is that they then set up a recurring monthly subscription of £35 to join their newsletter. The only way to get out of this is to unsubscribe, which is a needlessly lengthy process, failing that call your bank for help! Beware! And no, they didn't send out the Victoria secrets set!!
