BROKEN AFTER 14 MONTHS - customer service refused to replace after causing hazard to my pets

After buying the PetKit Solo automatic feeder we were shocked to come home one day to see nails and plastic amongst our gorgeous fur babies food.

Something internally had clearly snapped and broken randomly, but thankfully we were home shortly after this happened to ensure our cats were safe and hoped they hadn’t digested anything. Who’s to know if there wasn’t smaller bits of plastic they had accidentally consumed?! So incredibly dangerous the product did this and upsetting for us as our pets are our whole world, so to have the response we did when raising the issue, really made me angry!

Customer service refused to rectify the issue and solve customer dissatisfaction with their product literally causing a hazard, because it was 14 months old, therefore out of their 12 month guarantee. Not only was it a hazard, but it’s actually broken now as the product releases too much food, even when on the lowest setting. They thought 20% off re-buying their product was a reasonable response to the problem rather than being apologetic and replacing the product hoping that it was just an anomaly - honestly terrible service.

Extremely disappointing as I am now deterred to buy form PetKit again, because of poor customer service and the fact their products are clearly unreliable and don’t last very long - I was hoping to get their self cleaning litter tray, but definitely won’t now! No trust in the company or the product!

Looks like I’m not the only one who’s had problems with them…

TERRIBLE FOR SELF EMPLOYED RENTERS

Having an absolutely terrible experience trying to get referencing sorted for a new rental property. As people with the 1 star rating have said, they ask for unnecessarily intrusive information, of which they don't take into account the difference for self employed people.
You will probably struggle to pass their systems as a self employed person no matter how much you earn!
Such a shame they are currently getting in the way of us having such a lovely home when in 15 years we have never missed a rent payment, have a perfect credit score and we are currently paying the exact same rent elsewhere.
Ridiculous system, proven by the fact that this is the ONLY time we have had trouble with passing referencing in those 15 years renting.
We will be avoiding any property listed with an agent that requires Goodlord referencing moving forwards, it's not worth the hassle - even if this one goes ahead for us.

Let's hope they still manage to turn it around for us, or our prospective agents/landlord choose to ignore their irrelevant income checks.

Front of house horrendous (Spaces, Theale)

Absolutely terrible since the lovely FOH members have left the building. Front of house staff are useless, turning away packages that are needed for our work and then laugh & patronise us after their mistake. We will be leaving ASAP now, we used to have such a high level of genuine care, but the atmosphere is now horrible we will not be paying for that.

COMPANY NOT DECENT HUMANS

Unfortunately my experience with this company has been shattered after some personal and life changing experiences I have had, meant that I cannot complete the course I signed up for. I am a reasonable person and I understand what I signed up for, but they should make some allowances when I provide them with a doctor's note explaining my inability to now complete the course. They haven't had the decency to offer me even the smallest part of compensation or refund for not being able to complete the course. They just believe that because I have accessed it in the past I will run off with the information - I was no where near completing the course, and whatever information they give is all over the internet anyway, it's not like I actually am qualified!! They also believe that offering an 'indefinite extension to complete the course' is a good enough form of compensation, when literally - my whole life has changed and I will NOT become a personal trainer.
Such a shame they seem to lack any kind of human empathy or decency. I will not recommend and steer people well away from using their services now.
