Awful company to use for tenant referencing.
I make over the required amount for renting a flat and they said they couldn’t verify my income as I’m paid from an international company. I didn’t know my company had a UK entity and when I went to fix this information, they didn’t allow me to!
Completed my referencing without corrected information! No way to change anything. Completely incompetent customer service people. One woman even said “I must connect my bank account” and that this cannot be removed once requested?? Insane. If an agency uses GoodLord, run far away! Not worth the hassle and frustration
Scamming you via estate egants
This company is attached to lots of estate agents and scam their customers by calling "about the move" when it is them selling insurance and sending tens of emails with what you need to do which is just them selling add ons. It is unbelivable that these scams are allowed in this country.
Be very careful with Goodlord
Used for tenant referencing, system is based on algorithms, students, first time in employment, self-employed and over 60's will likely get refused. I got refused yet they're still sending emails requesting further documents. They started to extract data from the referencing application before it had been completed; called the wrong people , so I was very nervous about allowing direct access to bank accounts.

this is such an incredibly stupid idea. just give me a webform so i can look at all the options in 1 go at my own pace.
the chatbot also makes you do things in order so you cant fill out details you have and then come back for what you dont.

Absolutely dreadful
Absolutely dreadful, complicated, very time consuming experience for tenants. Invasive procedures asking for open banking & multiple IDs to be uploaded. Multiple proofs of income including employer verification, payslips, checking with hmrc & then after all that, thinking it's all done, being asked for open access to personal bank account. Wouldn't be so bad if you could ask a living human being for help, but this thing is AI from start to finish. I hope I never have to do this ever again.
